Second thing is the faculty member of physics Department. They are good.
Campus is clean and well managed. It's seminar halls are awesome, equipped with AC, projectors etc.

Dislikes

The selection procedure of additional subjects like sec vac.
Sometimes we are informed very late about some events. This things can be fixed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is quite relevant and the way it was divided in each semester, the weightage and importance are all just appreciable. Physics is a subject which is fully applied in real world and the way lactures delieverd are alos impressive. One can easily comnect things and it really enhances the understanding capabilities.

Class Size : 79Course Fees : INR 16000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In my opinion it is a very affordable course in our college. The cost of complete course would sum upto 50000 only for a 4 year course. And I believe this course can easily be completed wothout any scholarship by student belonging to a middle calss family. Fee is to be submitted yearwise. In every new year you have to submit fee. It was around 14000 and includes all type of charges like tuition fee, development fee etc.

Campus Life :

There are a no. Of societies and social groups you can join. Also there are some socities which provides you an opportunity to have outside tour on their budget. Different sports and grounds for them including football, basketball, volleyball are in the campus. You can simply issue them from respective department with your college id card and enjoy them. Library is filled with lots of book and you can issue 5 books a time using your library card provided during 1st sem.

Admission :

One to take this course should passed his 12th board examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as core subjects with a aggregate of 67% . Admissions are done via CUET exams conductes once in a year bt NTA. you have to appear for physics, chemistry, maths and 1 language subject in the CUET test. The dificultify level of the exam is moderate. The exam fee may vary on your subject choices. Cut offs were also not so high so one who studied 12th class in a well manner can easily clear the enterance and get admission in the colleges of DU.

Faculty :

The faculties we get in physics Department are quite good. Some of them really deserve appreciation. They are cared about students and their academics. Approaching them is very easy in our college. But some of them are not as good. They don't care. They don't even complete their semester syllabus. But overall faculties are good.

Best college in South campus. Recommended for Maths major

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Ramjas : A "che" to the "mistry"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
