Course Curriculum Overview :

In Haldia institute of Technology, exams are very difficult to clear. Courses are very much similar to other colleges. In clubs and society of Haldia Institute of technology, teach new technology like cloud computing.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 18500 per year

Placement Experience :

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS , WIPRO, COGNIZANT, HPL ,HCL,IOCL, CAPGEMINI, GIFO, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, RELIANCE JIO and many more companies visited.As per college placements record of year 2023-24 (81 no of companies visited as on 31 march 2024) and Highest package offered 33LPA and Average package offered 4.85LPA .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For the batch of 2023-2027 haldia institute of technolgy ,total fees is 6,34,200(with hostel) / 5,33,200 (without hostel). In 2024 placement is around 51%. In this period of resession the placement is very good.

Campus Life :

At Haldia Institute Of Technology, there is an Annual Cultural Meet in the Month of May. and One technical fest PRAYUKTI held in the month of May and the cultural fest is RIVERIA. along with Sports meets also held every year between departments. there are nearly 27 clubs in Haldia Institute of technology (samarpan-ngo ), IEEE, ISTE, IEEE-MTTS, CSI, DSCH, and CODE HUB.

Hostel Facilities :

For 1st Year 3 hostel are provided for Boys (P5,Ranichak , Balaji ) and for girls (Pritilata and Matagini Hall of Residence) alloted at admission time .Meal Quality is Average (vegeterian faces little bit) .if u want to rented a PG is also avaiable

Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year

Admission :

In Haldia Institute OF Technolgy admission through West Bengal joint entrance exam and jee mains .Admission has also done through management quota. last year CSE cutoff is around 8 thousand and ECE cutoff is around 23 thousand (through wbjee rank).

Faculty :

In haldia institute of technology ,faculty members ar highly qualified and many faculty member done their phd from different iit. Faculty member are very supportive . one time ,when i have doubt in engineering in 9pm i message a professor then the professor call me clear all my doubt.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
