Government medical college baramati overall review

Dislikes

  • The mess food is gross, we find cockroaches in our food and there is no variety of food
  • The campus is quite small with many people living in a very small space

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took this scores because my Elder Brother is also a Doctor and curriculum wise. It is a kind of vast actually, it will take years of study. And hard work for you to become a Doctor and then start earning. While your friends will be earning from a very uh, young age. You will have to be based send in order to get paid. But this is a noble profession, so you can definitely go for it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fees varies for every student. According to his or her category like I am a obc student and Fees is ten thousand five hundred and if there a student is of general category, then his fees will be approximately one lakh twenty five thousand and he can always apply for a scholarship and then he can get his fees reduced

Campus Life :

The overall campus experience is quite good. Our rooms are spacious and we have separate toilet and bathroom. Mineral rooms also, the our interest is a little small but it doesn't affect the Campus Life. It is a very good in infrastructure and overall amenities are good and also our classes are ac ventilated. So we have a comfortable study time

Hostel Facilities :

Are hostel rooms are good, I live in the hostel given to me by the college. But you can always opt for a private hostel. And the food is kind of gross year. There is no variety in the menu in the Dsily menu. And also sometimes we find bugs in our food

Admission :

You have to give the need exam in order to get admission. In this college, you will have to the expected marks to get admission in the government medical college. In the year 2022, when I was admitted in this college. The cutoff was 560 and the thing I didn't like about this. Admission process was there was no correction in the exam

Faculty :

The faculty is friendly in nature but the number of teachers in every department are very low, like there are only 4-5 techers for every department..The college has been recently opened so there is not much patient flow and that's why the teachers you will find here are mainly of non clinical branches, and very few actual practitioners come to teach you.

Other Applied Colleges

Government Medical College and Hospital | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

The cutoff of this college was higher than expected

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted always to cure people. Also, I come from rural areas where there are very less doctors. So I want to change this situation and bring health facilities to my area. My college stands ranked 3 in Mumbai,it gave us experience and a practical approach, and last year we has an internship where we could improve

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is under Competency Based Medical Education it is with competencies in each subject and it helps very well to conquer at each and every subject. The practicals are also very well taught so that you can get hands on in every type of equipment and knowledge about all the things. Medical field in itself is very hard to chase but the difficulty level is quite impresssive in our curriculum it maintains the academic level of the college and University. The timing is also well matched keeping in mind with all the holidays and preparatory time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always was drifted towards medicine the thought of having a scalpel itself was so mesmerizing! There is one asst professor per 50 students And on the dissection table or in small groups, we have 1 teacher per 9-10 students The teachers are highly qualified some are from AFMC some from well-reputated colleges We have a lecture then practical followed by a small group discussion of that topic mostly in anatomy Exams are quite regularly held and are definitely not easy to pass! They follow the pattern of MUHS but as per info, it was more difficult than that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is experienced and the majority of the professors are good at teaching. The course curriculum is as what is specified by MCI. Regular classes. Disciplined study environment. They teach you what would be required for you to crack the NEET PG exam. I wish they would take up more research projects.
