Thereis no ragging here and most of the teachers are well behaved.
Multiple events take place throughout the year.

The campus infrastructure is not maintained well specifically the bathrooms are awful
The campus life is boring compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college provides above average packages which attracted me to this college. Internal ecams are conducted once every month. The teachers could teach us in much better ways such as more of practical classes.

Class Size : 63Course Fees : INR 210000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placements usually are available to students from the third year or so. Placements from college do occur but they are rare and not everyone gets placed into good companies or gets good packages yearly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is available in the college if applied according to given terms. From comedk the fees comes around upto 210000 per year. From kcet it is much more affordable. Aside from this, fees such as exam fees has to be paid.

Campus Life :

There are multiple clubs availabe in the college which the students can opt to join. Clubs such as Adastra, Tedx and microsoft are available to join. Multiple sport activities take place year around to participate in.

Admission :

The admission was pretty much direct after I got the college alloted from the comedk exam results. I paid the fees and there were two tests for admissions or so. There are multiple courses available for students to opt for.

Faculty :

The faculty is well trained and educated. They provide education in english so it is transparent to everyone. There is not much of spoon feeding here self study what most of the students end up dling eventually. We are free to ask the teachers doubts any time.

A good college for only study

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough for IT fields and you will get a decent amount of package. But if you want core placements we may get a few companies with few jobs so you should be competitive enough to crack these. Last year our college got the highest package of 52LPA. An average package is around 7.5 LPA.

A Journey of a lifetime

Placement Experience:

Google, Amazon, and Texas Instruments to name a few are the companies that visit our campus. NITK has always topped placement drives with most of its students being recruited. The highest package offered was 52 LPA. The average package is 11 LPA.

Life at NMIT

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year that means 5th-semester students can be eligible to get placements in the college. IBM, TCS, AMAZON, etc. big companies visited our college for placements. The highest package offered here is 30 LPA and the least will be on average around 500000 to 600000. I am going to the US for further studies after Engineering

Good way to opt

Placement Experience:

Our college infrastructure is not good compared to other colleges in Davanagere city. However, the classrooms are very good, and projectors are available in all classrooms. Labs are very good. Hostel facilities are good, but the fee is more compared to other colleges

Remarks:

there are no raging so you fill free and no one distribute you while you are studying. normally in our hostel 6-8 pm is a study time then 8'o clock dinner is started after you finish your dinner you can go for roaming in our college campus. after 9'o clock hostel get will be close so all student have to come to hostel on time and again 10'o clock study time start.
