Course Curriculum Overview :

Bcom with CMA included core CMA topics in each semester till the 4th semester then they introduce elective subjects. The college provides CMA courses with Miles education. That makes it easier to prepare for the cma exams. Area of improvement would be time management for the faculty and not drag the syllabus till the last day of the semester.

Internships Opportunities :

The faculty creates a group and poste all the available internshio opportunities for the student to go thru. The college provides the attendance while the students attend their internships and theres is no issue of attendance at any point of time

Placement Experience :

Students get placements during the last semester and are eligible to attend them if they have 0 backlogs. PWC TCS and other top companies visit dsu durimg placements multiple times to hire students. Around 70-80% of the students get placed. Current plans after degree is completing 2 years in accenture

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is only a slight difference in the fees semesterwise. Like around 2% increase in the fees every year. The overall cost for the degree was 396000 for the 3 years of degree. I have no idea about the scholarships available. I have given interviews in placements and the packages and job roles are decent for for freshers to begin with.

Campus Life :

The overall 3 years experience was quite a roller coaster from making new friends to attending fests with them. Organising events was fun. The fests are amazing in DSU. The classrooms we got were really good gallery rooms. Sports and extracurricular activities are highly encouraged in the college

Admission :

I just had to make a phone call to the department and enquire about the admission and i instantly got adminssion within a week of the call. They process now would be different as I was from a covid batch

Faculty :

The Scms department has quite a lot of teachers for the different batches which is quite good. Hate the dean Dr Trupthashankar total jackass tbh. Teachers and mentors are quite friendly although there are many changers throughout the degree. Interaction with teachers is quite alot during college, they are readily there to help the students regarding their issues.

Placement Experience:

The only good thing happened to me in this college is placement. They have a placement team for the whole of Dayanand Sagar institutions which includes many departments so the placement team is really good. Many big as well as small companies come for campus recruitment and they have a telegram group which keep posting on new jobs every now and then.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester campus selection is offered to the students as we can join and attend interviews. TCS, hcl are the companies visited and didn't select for the job. The placement of the job is a minimum of 30 to 50%. I'm thinking of joining any job I get.

I really like my college because the college is very well developed. The infrastructure of the college is also very good and can accommodate many students at one single time. The college also have playgrounds for the sports activities and spacious conference halls with LCD facilities.

Remarks:

Overall the college provides an amazing experience with ups and downs in your life. This place is a learning experience for everyone. At times the college faculty gets too strict and you have to provide a apology letter everytime a mistake is made no matter how silly it is.
