I liked my college because of its infrastructure and its faculty. The faculty of history is just amazing

Sometimes I disliked the faculty members for their rude behaviour
There are many issues in the college canteen including higher rate of price for foods and snacks

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus of history is same as the civil service exam syllabus, The syllabus includes each and every important topics related to historical background The syllabus includes History of India ancient+ medieval, history of USA, History of japan, china , Rise of Modern West etc

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 19000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is quite higher than other colleges of DU, 19000 for Arts course is not acceptable, but it also depends on the college that how the faculty members are, spending 19000 on fees is acceptable due to the teachers mentorship and efforts made by them to teach us

Campus Life :

The campus is just adjacent to the South Campus of University of Delhi, its amidst the greenery of Aravali range, Also there are many birds including peacock, sparrows etc Ther eare many technological advancements in the campus, including digital library for students

Admission :

At first one have to give CUET-UG exam conducted by NTA. Once the exams are over DU will open up its US portal i.e. CSAS portal, which has 3 stages First stage:- Filling the application form Second stage:- College preference selection Third stage:- Seat allocation and fees payment

Faculty :

There are more than 15 faculty members in each department of our college Total number of students per department is around 60×2=120 i.e. two sections are per department The total ratio of student and faculty is 10:1

My dream college

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Experience of life with this college

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body.The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.
