Renowned name for job opportunity and internships in future
Teachers are very well educated and PhD qualified

Dislikes

No regularity in studies. Teachers either remain absent or uninterested in teaching

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course coincidently but later on, I came to know the importance and effectiveness of this course in the future. It will contribute to good development in future and moreover help to get good job opportunity including govt job. The exams are conducted semester-wise.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 26550 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In this aspect , as our college is a off campus college , the fees is quite high as compared to other DU colleges. We deserve equal rights in fees structure as DU students . There is no scholarship opportunity for general caste students. Campus is the poorest of all. Electricity is not regular. Only fans r there. Even we found dead lizards in water cooler . We actually need facilities

Campus Life :

There are very limited and small festivals or event celebrations. No technological facility in class. There is a library. The book range is limited. There r only 2 groups of social work, ABVP and SFI that only fight with each other and don't focus on real issues.

Admission :

The admission process was quite smooth. The eligibility criteria was simple for this course. The application form was online available on DU Site. There was no such benefits to general caste students. There should be pre exams before final exam

Faculty :

Teachers are well educated and all are PhD qualified. They are good and cooperative and supportive. Teachers r very less as compared to students. They differentiate the students as their favorites and non-favourites

Gargi college university of delhi review

Placement Experience:

In DU you can get placement but for only bcom. There is negligible placement opportunities for the students of science background. But after completing the degree you can go for research and teaching feild and other competitive exams.

I like my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a botany student in my view the course is very nice although sometimes seems to be boring but we can relate to our environment and know more about plant world.like we can identify what plant is this how we can grow it the suitable climate and region for it. One can also become a scientist my knowing the nomenclature and naming a plant.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are just awesome as they offer an average package of about 7-10 lpa but here most of the roles are slightly bent over the analyst role which means that more analyst roles are offered than others.

In the 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements . There are around 100 companies that visit to recruit students from the college . Few of them are Wipro , Taj group , Mother dairy , Deloitte , ITC , Cars 24 , Accenture etc .

Remarks:
