As i belong to science background, here in gargi science faculty is very good nd experienced.
Infrastructure is good and the campus area is cleaned.

Dislikes

Pollution in Delhi. Aiq is very poor. And in winter its so difficult to go to college hahaha.
The morning classes coz its starts so early like at 8:30 only.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm soo fascinated for the study of plants and animal, and then i got botany I'm happy with it. You can go for research work after completing the course and can also go for some competitive exams like upsc ssc-cgl and many more. You can also get teaching opportunities after this. And i think the written work is so much here (for practicals).

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 18350 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For the intership you can go and join the companies and u can do it online simply. You will not be paid for the internship generally but you'll gain experience and your CV will be improved. You can enroll to government certified internships also.

Placement Experience :

In DU you can get placement but for only bcom. There is negligible placement opportunities for the students of science background. But after completing the degree you can go for research and teaching feild and other competitive exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm pursuing bsc botany honors from gargi college university of delhi. It's a women's college. And the program fees is Rs.18765/- per year. For all the categories u have to pay the same amount mentioned for botany(h). Infrastructure is good here even the science faculty is so supportive and experienced. And I think you must be knowing delhi university is famous for its fest and events, and gargi is colorful college for this. You can join various socities like ncc, nss, avni eco club, enliven the dance society, can be a part of nukkad's , good opportunity for basketball players and many more than u can think of. Via all these your confidence, conversation skills and your personality improves. Taking about the scholarships, you can apply for it and u can get approx 1-2 lakhs and its a good amount. Campus Life :

Fest generally starts from the month of October November. Books and general are easily available in the library you can issue it from there also. Opportunity for basketball is quiet good in gargi. And takin about eca you can join the society's of your interest for your personality & character development. Campus life is excellent here no doubt (if you are active).

Admission :

I didn't get any rejection for any university, but according to me delhi university is better than others. For the admission you have to give cuet exam with your respective subjects and the register to csas portal of DU after the counseling you'll get the college.

Faculty :

Faculty members are good. Exams held in duration of 6 months (one semester). If you'll study you'll clear the exams with good Mark's. Just so through the all the topics it's not that hard. You get 4 marks in each subject for attendance and after completing 67% of attendance than the marking start like 1 2 3 &4.

I like my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a botany student in my view the course is very nice although sometimes seems to be boring but we can relate to our environment and know more about plant world.like we can identify what plant is this how we can grow it the suitable climate and region for it. One can also become a scientist my knowing the nomenclature and naming a plant.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are just awesome as they offer an average package of about 7-10 lpa but here most of the roles are slightly bent over the analyst role which means that more analyst roles are offered than others.
