Course Curriculum Overview :

Engineering is all about real-world problems. Here we keep track of real-life problems. We solve real-life problems through our good lab and practical classes. But exams are too frequent. They should provide enough time to prepare for exams

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Kpit gave us an internship by project. Or no other companies gave no internet in the college. I don't know the stipend. After the 7th sem student gets placed. And do their job. In the final year, one project will be done

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus places. Wipro, tcs, kpit, and cognizant visit our campus. The average package was 3.8 lakh and the highest was 9 lakh. 50% of students get placed. My plan after my degree is IT job by placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is enough for BTech. But for 2 years the campus placement is below average. They should maintain the campus placement. They should provide internships as well for a better future

Campus Life :

Arcadia is the annual fest. Mand techfiesta is the techfest. The library should always. Many types of books are there. Engineering-related books. The basketball court is on campus. So extracurricular activities are good. Cse, even, ee, eee, csbs has their own community called student chapter. Many events are organized by them

Admission :

The cut-off is normal. For cse it was 14k for ECE. it was 20k for EE. it was 30k for EEE it was 40k for csbs it was 20k. so the cut-off is ok. The frequency and timing of exams are difficult to do.

Faculty :

Our faculty helps us but does not really help to grow us. They should clear the topics more appropriately. Teacher-student communication is less here. They should improve these things. overall they are good

Interview Experience :

The criteria are wbjee qualified or jee main qualified. The admission process was in 3 rounds. I take admission in the first round. They saw wbjee result and we fill the form.. Give them fees and we get admitted

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
