- Environment is the best, totally sustainable environment, maximum things are made of recycled products. Extremely decorated college. It should be the best environment friendly college of Kolkata even West Bengal
- Every room is decorated very very well and scientifically so that students get educated about the history also. There in every wall you should find quotes that are relevant to life.
Dislikes
- The thing I disliked a little bit that the college is totally vegetarian. There you won't see any kanteen where you are gonna get any non veg food item.
- iLEAD has two section of times. Like as I choosed morning classes, so the morning classes starts from 8:00 am at morning. That's a little bit tough to join at the class at the right time everyday in winter.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In our course, design is everything. You can be a graphic designer, animator, VFx artist everything is about how good design you can present to the viewers. In graphic design there are several branches like advertisement design, logo design, YouTube Thumbnail design, social media post design and many more things. In animation there are 2D animation and 3D animation as well. There you will study video editing as well. Also with these all subjects you will get additional subjects like organizational behavior, soft skills, social media marketing, digital marketing, photography, IT, critical thinking, film and technology, web designing, UI/UX Designing, Health etc etc. as of my view health is a very boring subject rest are good, but still Health subject was easily teached by our ma'am (sanjini maam) and we got a very good and satisfying marks on that subject.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities depend on your course. As I have taken BSc in multimedia animation and graphic design, usually get internship opportunities at the advertisement agencies. There are so many advertisement agency in Kolkata that gives internship opportunities to our college students and also they hires from us.
Placement Experience :
Here, I've not been offered any placement still now because this is not the right time for me, but I have sent the placement drive are happening in our college and many students are going there and joining them. I have many seniors I know, they got placed. In my course, there is a mass option of freelancing is opened in front of all of us. We usually start doing freelancing after a year of studying. Here mentors also help to get clients. Then Ilead also offers interships. There students can learn and earn as well.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At iLEAD, there are several courses, and as per the courses the fees are decided by the college authority, you will see the amount of every courses are there on the website ilead.net . I am studying BSc in multimedia animation and graphics, there my total course fees is 4,10,500/- for 3years. Okay so here is a conflict, because our college has adopted the new education policy 2023. So for the graduation honours degree we will have to study for 4 years, there the total course fees will increase, and it will be 5,20,666/- in total 4 years. iLEAD provides one time scholarship after 50,000/- to the eligible students who pass the interview while taking admission. The amount is considered as per the interview quality. iLEAD never ever charges a single more penny for any stuff of college. Even for example they provide our exam fees also to MAKAUT UNIVERSITY. The only rs 1000 more they charge for feeling up the form of admission. That's it. iLEAD has Learn & Earn programme as well.
Campus Life :
At Ilead, I can assure everybody will get a great experience of campus life because the college is very well decorated and technology oriented. There are festivals that happens every week, literally you will see so many festivals happening there are no particular time fixed for these. But annual function takes place at February month. When will function occurs with the great DJ night and party into the college. There are facilities like fully centralised AC rooms, lift, sensored toilets, sensor attached lights and many more things. There are the turf of the college building, you'll find basketball playground and a football playground. Also there is a pool court. There are almost 25 clubs that you can join. All the clubs have their head and assistant heads. All that clubs present their festivals almost all the time of a year.
Admission :
Admission process at Ilead is easy. Just call on the given number of website or fill up the form in the website. Then your councilor will connect with you & he/she will ask you for visiting the college and then while visiting the college you can take admission right there. You will be asked to have an interview for getting the scholarship. If you are eligible you will get the scholarship up to rs 50,000/- Usually the admission process runs from March to August month of every year. It's already very advanced process so I don't think that there need any improvement in admission process.
Faculty :
Our Faculty members of iLEAD, are very very friendly, no matter who you are, they will guide you, and help you in whatever matter you need in education or in design or in animation or in multimedia, you will get all of this at anytime anywhere, you just need to ask. All the faculty members are extremely high qualified and quite helpful. Even our HOD Sourav Mukherjee sir, who has great qualification in this field, usually smile and talks to us seamlessly. He always inspires us. Rest all the faculty members are extremely good in their field. Believe me that's my very honest feedback about them.
