  • Food quality is not that good, but that's in most of the college's
  • It's a open university, so when we go out or roam the place, we find many people smoking

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is good for people who wants to know about the living beings more closely, the things that goes in our body. I wanted to take this course to know more deeply about it. Other than studies , also this teaches us about problems solving in real life, how to face problems, how to interact with people. The semester exams happens between 4 to 5 months, and the exam level is moderately difficult.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't remember much about this but, for first year they charge 8000-9000? for students and from next year it's 3000-4000? per year , for tution fees only. Hostel fees varies from hostel to hostel. I didn't get any kind of scholarship or financial aid, cause i have no idea about this.

Campus Life :

There are many festivals that happens, like basanta utsav, pous Mela , Nandan mela, rathindra mela, Ananda bazar, rabindra jayanti and many more. Every kinds of books for students are available in the library. There are boards for chalk , marker and even smart boards are there. We do play with our friends whenever we get time, like football, cricket, badminton, chess, table tennis etc.

Hostel Facilities :

There are four beds in our room, and the room is quite big enough for four of us. Meal is not that good, in most of the hostels. We can get hostel after a few days of admission and attending classes. At first we rented a PG nearby in bhubandanga.

Admission :

60% or more marks in 12th grade. Must apply in cuet and from there students are selected, by giving the exams needed to take this course. Everything can be found on official website of University. Semester exams happens in between 4 to 5 months and the papers are sometimes difficult and sometimes moderately difficult. I don't know more about admission process.

Faculty :

Every faculty who teaches us have completed their phd, they are professors. Student to teacher ratio is good , i mean according to our class it's good. We interact with professors whenever we can, they are so friendly and can help with everything possible, in studies and sometimes personal too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I love Statistics. Also, there is a great job opportunity after reading the statistics here. A BSc in Statistics(Hons) covers a wide range of topics. The scope of the program prepares graduates for careers in data analysis, research and various other fields that require strong quantitative and analytical skills. At present, there are 9 teachers and 25 students in our year. Innovative Teaching Methods: #Audio & Video Tools. #Stimulating Classroom Environment #Welcome New Ideas #Refer to Books On Creativity #Introduce Lessons Like a Story #Regular Assignments #Seminar by the students & professors There are two semesters in an academic year and there is a short mid-semester in between each semester here. To clear the exams you need to read class notes and books properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The math department is too good. Teachers are qualified enough and experienced. They are friendly. Bonding between students and teachers is like watching. The course is quite difficult but for this, there are teachers who help us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Placement Experience:

There are no campus placements. No companies visit the college and no as such highest and average package as per company and profiles offered are available. My plan after getting a degree is to go for further higher studies i.e. M.Sc. in biotechnology from out of West Bengal. Then after completing my M.Sc. I will further go for Ph.D.

Remarks:

The college was almost good in every way. But the college has no hostel facility for boys. This is very imbrasing. If hostel facility is available for boys, then the college becomes a better college in Burdwan city.

Remarks:

Kharagpur College is NAAC accredited B++ educational institution of Rail city Kharagpur. I love this college because I'm an ex student of this college. A very good, renowned college of Kharagpur. Many brilliant students passed away from this institution and many poets and writers were also appointed here as teachers, lecturers, part timer etc.
