The faculty at SRM university are outstanding. Their dedication in teaching and their approachable nature have made my learning journey enjoyable.

Dislikes

The social scene , while vibrant for some, can feel exclusive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide a well rounded education that balances theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The curriculum does not actually work in preparing students for the real world applications. The area where they can improve would definitely be incorporating more experimental learning or more field work could enhance practical skills.

Internships Opportunities :

One of the notable limitations of the internship opportunies at SRM university is that internship is typically offered in the 3rd year and unfortunately without stipend. This restriction can limit practical experience and knowledge. Partnership companies for internship are mainly IBM and Xebia. Projects and outcomes are that student work on various mini projects including data analysis, machine learning and AI and decision making processes and one major projects in 4th year has to be submitted.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total cost of education for BTech CSE with specialisation in DevOps per year includes several components: Tuition fees :2,50,000 rs Exam fee:13000rs Library and extra curricular fees : 10,000 Scholarship ranges from 10% to 75% depending on your academic achievements High fees is a significant concern but availability of scholarships mitigate this burden.

Campus Life :

There is a college fest which happens once in a year in the month of February and sports week in august. There are clubs for dancing , singing , CIIE for tech and cyberlink for cybersecurity. The classrooms are well designed to create an optimal learning environment. Many classrooms are equipped with modern furniture and smart boards. The university organizes social events for hostel students like celebrating festivals and movie nights, concert etc.

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is to score good in JEE or SRMJEE which is their personal admission exam. You can find the application form and all the admissions related details on their official website. There are in total 3 exams conducted per semester and with mediocre difficulty level but strict checking Applicants often face anxiety due to delay in communication regarding their application status. Sending regular updates about the application, deadlines and other requirements can help to reduce uncertainty

Faculty :

The faculties are highly qualified and bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their respective fields. Many professors hold advanced degree in their academics and research. With the smaller classes, students benefit from more personalized attention with professors. Faculties are actively involved in research and encourage students to participate in various projects and research.

Nearly Best Engineering College

Placement Experience:

There are less number of campus placement in college. They provide nearly 200000&above yearly package. Nearly 40% of students get placement and college continously focusing on increasing number of placement.

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placement after 4th semester and placement cell is very good, big companies like Tata, Amazon, Oyo, etc hire direct from our campus. Lowest package is 3.5 LPA and the highest package is 90 LPA and almost 70% student get placement.

Many companies come for placements for ece and cse companies like BEL , Infosys, Wipro, Avon , Siemens in previous year ie in 2024 placements were not as good as it should be only 3-4 students from ece were able to bag a package of 11lpa . Min package offered is 3-4 lpa and max package is of 25lpa

Student are eligible for campus placements as soon as they enter 6th sem.There are around 20 to 25 companies that visit for IT placements .The highest package that Offered was from Service now 42 LPA ,Commvault also offered 34 LPA,and Ecolobs offers around 10 LPA ,Zscaler offers 21 LPA last year
