Remarks :

This is overall a good college as per my experience of past 3.5 years. Infrastructure is currently under improvement and rest of the things are well planned and organised, management is good though, but hostel management needs lottle more security.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very interesting and includes sports amd cultural activities too in srm university. Overall the syllabus of my course CSE is similar to those of many other top universities in India.

Internships Opportunities :

No, this university does not provide internship. However, the placement is 100 percent in this university. Many companies come for mass recruitment as well as for internship purposes too. Overall the university is good in this thing too.

Placement Experience :

It has been a record of 100 percent placement in thia University for students of all fields. Recently, HCL, INFOSYS, TCS etcetera companies were invited for recruiting students of final year amd students got handsome packages too.

College Events :

Since past few years, college fest is held every year and sports activities are held. Recently famous singers Jassi gill and babbal rai were invited in the prisma 2k19 - name coined for the fest in srm university - and lots of other cultural activities were held too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is little expensive in the SRM university. Currently the tution fee is about 1.5 lacs annually and hostel fee is 1.25 lacs for non Ac and 1.55 lacs for Ac. Facilities are provided accordingly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Well, i am not familiar with the loan facilities but the loan amd scholarship facility is provided to local students in the first priority. It is very beneficial for students those who get scholarships. Unfortunately students from outside haryana won't get scholarships on this university.

Campus Life :

There are numerous labs in srm university Haryana, namely chemistry, physics, IBM, Bioinfotech. etc moreover sports ground is spacious and sports activities are very well played, competing with other universities.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is built the previous year and is ver good from the inside. However it lacks balconies but the gym and mess is very good and is spacious. Hopefully the infrastructure will be improved in future.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very friendly and as this university follows anti ragging policy, all the seniors are very polite and helpful. They help juniors in their respective field of study and proejcts too. The relationship between junior and senior is well maintained.

Exam Structure :

Exams pattern is same as that of British exam pattern. There are 2 internal examinations every semester and 3rd one if necessary. Then comes the practicals and final end semester examinations. The marking criteria is very simple. 30% for internals and 70% for externals.

Admission :

I gave an enterance exam for admission in this university and i got the rank of 31000 all over india. Most importantly i got admitted in the computer science course which i always wanted to opt for higher studies.

Faculty :

Faculty of this university is very friendly and supportive. Professors always help students regarding studies as well as projects. However, the staff is little less as it should be with respect to number of students in this university.

You can consider it if you are not getting any NIT then you can consider this college.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placement rate the ins is 40-50% according to several seniors I asked and they told me this is because most of the students prepare for GATE for higher studies. And the companies which visit here are mass recruiting companies like TATA and Infosys.
