Dislikes
- In this college attendance is compulsary,so for sitting in semester exams we need to make 75 percent of attendance.
- Syallabus is too large as college is under MAKAUT.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As this college is under MAKAUT, so its syllabus is very vast. In odd semesters classes continue for 5 to 6 months but in even semesters classes continue for 2 to 3 months. So students don't get a lot of time for self-development skills.
Placement Experience :
In recent years, this college has high placement rate it was ranked 4 in the state private engineering college. Almost every student who meets the criteria gets placed by companies. The average package is 4lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of this college is 4,25,000 for 4 years. As this college is in West Bengal, here state scholarship named SVMCM is provided by the state government for only West Bengal state students. Under this scholarship, 60k is provided per year.
Campus Life :
This college is present on 35 acres. It has a large campus. Here provide hostels for students if students don't want to stay in a hostel, they can stay in a pg as well as many pg are present in here. In this college two fest are organized every year Tech fest and Arcadia in which Indian celebrities are also invited to our fest. There are a lot of clubs like photography, music, sports, and many more.
Admission :
This college accepts WBJEE results. We have to clear in wbjee that there is a West Bengal entrance exam to take admission in this college and as well as all engineering colleges. Cut-offs for different branches are as follows: CSE: 11k, CSBS: 25k, ECE: 33k, EE:45k, ME and EEE: around 63k.
Faculty :
In this college, the faculty are knowledgeable. Some faculty have studied at IIT and MIT. Some faculty of this college are very strict they pressure students to do classes daily, but Some faculty are good and cooperative.
