Remarks :

The college overall is a good medical college. Academics is a strong suit. Extracurricular facilities are okay. The college management is very helpful.

Entrance Preview :

Well, I had two options between this college and another one. I chose this one because the teaching facilities are very good, the hospital is very good. The classes are very regular and the departments are strict yet very helpful. Overall the college is very good academically.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the guidelines of as per MCI are followed with all the important topics covered. The practical sessions are regularly conducted with hospital postings every day. Everything is explained to the point and doubts are entertained without any prejudices. A mentor is appointed to each student to help the student in his academic as well as personal problems.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, the college provides internship with posting in all the departments. I'm still a 2nd-year student hence don't know much about the stipend and stuff. But it's a great learning experience as some of the interns say.

Placement Experience :

Still a student, Can't comment much on the placements and job opportunities. However, it's one of the very good hospitals in the area and a charitable one. The internship program is a good one for learning opportunities. And academically teaching is very good.

College Events :

Yearly Fest called Xtasy. Various competitions such a poster presentation. MSAI events. Bioethics committee. And active student council. The magazine is published by the magazine committee. Inter-college quiz competitions. Teacher's day, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, Swach Bharat Abhiyaan, Dandia and Garba night etc. ICMR and STS programs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is as of any other deemed college. Around 20 lac rupees per year as of the past academic year. It's expensive as compared to government and private colleges but similar to other deemed universities. Hostel and mess facilities available.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not aware of such facilities offered by the college. But bank loans are available. However, some time is allowed for the submission of fees.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular is okay. There is a yearly college fest with lots of cultural and sports activities. Competitions such as poster presentation, quiz etc are conducted. Labs are up-to-date with all the facilities. You can take part in various inter-college competitions if interested.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities- the hostel is good. There are common washrooms on each floor with three people in one room. Water coolers on almost every floor. Mess facilities- Mess is like any other college mess. It's okay overall with 4 meals a day -Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner -7days a week.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are very good and helpful. In just a few weeks/months you get friendly with the seniors who guide through the academics/extracurricular and regulations of the college.

Exam Structure :

There are much internal assessment test taken on a periodic base with 9-semester exams. Many class tests are taken. Students are also assessed on the basis of the symposium, and presentation skills. Practical exams are taken in each semester. For example, in the second year, there are symposiums for each subject with 6-7 IA tests and 3 semesters and one University exam.

Admission :

The NEET national merit list. As per my neet rank got selected for admission in this college. When we got the call we went to the college where there was a counseling session where we were told about the institution, it's running and regulations etc. After which we filled the form, deposited the fees.

Faculty :

The faculty is very very good. All the topics are covered by them with an explanation for each and everything. the faculty use PPT as well as chalk and board method for teaching. All the doubts are entertained and explained to the student. The faculty is very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted always to cure people. Also, I come from rural areas where there are very less doctors. So I want to change this situation and bring health facilities to my area. My college stands ranked 3 in Mumbai,it gave us experience and a practical approach, and last year we has an internship where we could improve

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is under Competency Based Medical Education it is with competencies in each subject and it helps very well to conquer at each and every subject. The practicals are also very well taught so that you can get hands on in every type of equipment and knowledge about all the things. Medical field in itself is very hard to chase but the difficulty level is quite impresssive in our curriculum it maintains the academic level of the college and University. The timing is also well matched keeping in mind with all the holidays and preparatory time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always was drifted towards medicine the thought of having a scalpel itself was so mesmerizing! There is one asst professor per 50 students And on the dissection table or in small groups, we have 1 teacher per 9-10 students The teachers are highly qualified some are from AFMC some from well-reputated colleges We have a lecture then practical followed by a small group discussion of that topic mostly in anatomy Exams are quite regularly held and are definitely not easy to pass! They follow the pattern of MUHS but as per info, it was more difficult than that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is experienced and the majority of the professors are good at teaching. The course curriculum is as what is specified by MCI. Regular classes. Disciplined study environment. They teach you what would be required for you to crack the NEET PG exam. I wish they would take up more research projects.
