My College Experience

Dislikes

    Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum's emphasise on Computer Science directly alligns with my interest in computers. the curriculum seems to cover the core concepts. There were balance of theory and practice. we use to have lab sessions where we practice C language in the starting. There were exams, case studies etc.

    Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course was costly as I was staying out of my home city, I need to live in the hostel that increases my fees structure. I dont get any campus employment over there and also no placement and started to struggle on my own for the job roles.

    Campus Life :

The campus life was good. got many connections, there I participated in some cultural events both in college and hostel. There were range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library. There i use to play Basketball as my own interest, the sports activities offered off campus.

    Hostel Facilities :

I was living in the hostel in a three seater room. There were three beds and three table chairs and we used to go to mess for meal timings, the quality of meal was good. I have not rented a room during my college time. I stayed for four years in my college hostel.

    Admission :

The application form was readily available on the official website. I gave an exam RPET i.e. Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test and got RCERT college for my further studies and I choose Computer Science Stream for my B. Tech. degree.

    Faculty :

The faculty to student ration is about 1:60 at a time for a subject. Sometimes Professors utilize teaching assistants to facilitate smaller discussion groups for deeper dives into the material The faculty's were doing good. faculty members were post graduated, Some teachers holds a phd and had a keen understanding about their respective subjects. Professors encourage active participation through class discussion and group projects. Sometimes professors were ready for discussion outside the class. Overall the experience was good.

    Other Applied Colleges

International Institute of Information Technology - [IIIT-B] | Advanced Certificate in Data Science

I was looking for a job in Data Science. I was unable to pursue my career earlier due to my family commitments and decided to reignite my professional path and to learn and grow.

    Course Curriculum Overview:

In the first category Specific aspect, I can't say anything I mean the course corrculam was prepared so good but the problem is in elective portion in which the students have no choices for choosing the subject. And next part timing of exams is overall good And level of paper is medium. But in some cases the problem occurs where the paper comes out of syllabus and the college one don't even give bonus marking

The only thing which is good about banasthali is their placement. The placement is good. Various companies come to the campus. And select students according to their priorities. I cam say the percentage of placement is 80% I'm not saying it about the whole banasthali. It's just about my department.

Placements are better here. Placement coordinators are there to help students. Management is so helpful. There are more than 50 companies that come to campus and take students as per their criteria. There are exams, aptitude tests, and interviews lined up for students.

Students become eligible for placements starting from the 4th year. You get an option to opt a semester for internship in 4th year and the other semester becomes your placement semester. Good known companies visit our campus and we proudly present a good placement rate every year including the recession time. My plan is to work in an IT firm after my college degree. 90-95 percent students get placed by the end of cycle, rest go for masters.

    Placement Experience:

The average placement of the college can be concluded as 4-7 lpa. Mining being the creamy layer of the college With an average placement of 12-16 lpa and 100% placement is really phenomenal. Electrical engineering has recently performed very well with an astonishing 95% placement of students with an average of 6-7 lpa and 12,16 lpa being highest. Agricultural engineering is also an underrated branch of the college with 100% placement. Other branches like civil engineering and mechanical engineering are relatively not preferred by students due to bad professors and lack of good placement ratio
