  • My admission was done a lil later than the other college students they weren't very welcoming of that
  • Opportunities were mainly given to the favorite students regardless of scores.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course had all the relevant information. Education was top notch. I got indepth knowledge about topics I would usually overlook. Instead of studying only for marks I was really interested in the subject now.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships were available for people who had a caste certificate. Their education was basically free. I felt this is so unfair. We open category people face the most money issues. Fees of 60,000 is too much if someone is studying free.

Campus Life :

Throughout my msc year there was renovation going on in college so I didn't get to avail any such extracurricular benefits. Barely got a chance to attend the concert but since they made sexist remarks on the celebrity guest even that got spoilt so apart from that there weren't anymore chances. Moreover we were so preoccupied with things and all the pressure to perform well that we were barely involved in anything else. I did take part in the departmental fest tho. I called my friends and seniors and the people I was working with during the internship. It was fun that day. Then again all the construction work obstructed everything. Also for a while we did not have a designated classroom to sit in as construction was going on the in classroom so for a few months we used to wait for the availability or our lectures used to be held online. So there was prom day in college and I really wanted to go but they kept a dress code and it suddenly became so uninteresting to everyone.

Admission :

There was an entrance exam and the merit list for people in the open category was separate and people in the reserved category was separate. They barely had a cutoff. We had a really high cut off but even after the admission process they increased the seats and admitted more people.

Faculty :

The teachers are openly biased and it's difficult to approach them it's not a pleasant experience. Either they are too busy or they talk in a very rude and savage way so I felt they were not approachable ofcourse depends from person to person.

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like Cairn India, SLB, Exonn, Halliburton etc come every year for placements. Highest package is around 24 lakhs and average is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is very less. After getting degree anyone can give competitive exams like gate for PSUs and GSI and if anybody is interested they can go for phds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity is more of research based. They have dissertations for students at the end of of their academic year, and also provide mentors for the same. The syllabus is also not very vast and covers the most necessary topics.

Placement Experience:

The placements are actually very nice since if you study well, all of the students can be eligible for placements and there are various companies which visit on campus for hiring so there is always a chance of 100% placements here. The highest package goes upto 14 LPA.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

Remarks:

The college aims to provide students the opportunity to visit diverse countries and campuses. The objective of this effort is to provide students an opening to gain real life exposure to the cultural, social, industrial, educational & historical aspects of each other’s countries. I would recommend this college to everyone.
