Remarks :
The college management is definitely better and always helpful to solving the problems of students as well as teachers and all other staff. As per my view,I will give 8.5 stars out of 10.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is basically designed by the University of Mumbai but as an institute is Autonomous, Ruia is changing the contents of some syllabus as per requirement and give chance to learn other miscellaneous things too. The curriculum is not only Industry-specific to the student but also it gives the chance to learn Applied subject which really helpful for on-campus placements. Last year, Wipro Industry had visited and selected our 2 students of the Physics department.
Placement Experience :
The placement for students is generally done in year wise. The first step is the company will take interview of the candidate's various posts. There are many National companies were already participated in Campus such as Wipro. There is variation in percentage in the selection procedure for each of the subject since college conducts hot Arts & Science. For that, College takes initiative for such placement to give chance to students for exploring the carrier.
College Events :
For conducting events, Ruia is famous in Mumbai. There are various events were taken by the college which as follows: The college organized guest lecture on 'Carrier in Biological Science', a Discussion forum on 'Dear Jindagi', Dream Run Marathon(5Km), Selection round for 'Avishkar Research Convention' for Mumbai division, Digital Launch of Program for 'Skills & Entrepreneurship Development' which is opened by honourable Prime minister of India, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is somehow okay for students. But there is variation in fees due to various courses and subjects. I think, for post-graduation, the fee structure is high especially for science students. As I'm a student of Science, I do not know about the arts subject fee structure. But, upto degree (undergraduate), fee structure is average.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The college offered various scholarships in each of the subjects to encourage the students. For economically low students, there is facility of the Freeship and Girl Scholarship which is given by the Government of Maharashtra. I'm also getting Freeship from last 3 years regularly. Besides that, if students achieve in other extracurricular then also scholarship is offered by the institute.
Campus Life :
The campus life of Ruia is definitely better than other colleges of Mumbai, as per my view. There are various workshops are organized by the institute. There is lot of activities are done by College to fulfill and enrich the students. The gender ratio is also good.
Alumni/Alumna :
The Ruia Alumni Network is the best. Since it already did various events and provide facilities to institute.
Admission :
I want to explore myself in the subject Physics especially in Electronics as a core subject, but in Mumbai, there is hardly any college which conducts the course of B.Sc.-Electronics,So After taking guidance from various teachers, I choose Subject Physics and to study this subject very deeply, Ruia is the best place. This institute gives you various facilities to explore the subject. During Admission, there is an online procedure after that you have to just complete the submission of verified documents.
Faculty :
There are 15 lectures for each of the unit completion in each semester. Almost, all lectures all covered by faculty in a time limit. There are well-qualified teachers to teach undergraduate as well as for post-graduate; but mainly for post-graduate, the external faculty comes which is very experienced as well as Student friendly. There are lectures or seminars are conducted by the college to enrich the students academically in his/her subject. Also, the certificate course are also open for all students which is conducted by College itself only.
