Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum have subject of my interst which leasd me to select this course. The curriculum have practical which will further help during the job in real world. Their is practical given in curriculum but teacher doesn't focus on that practical part rather than that they mainly focus on theory part and rot learning. The exams are not that difficult mostly the previous year paper get repeated which are quit predictable.

Internships Opportunities

1

In pharmacy their is no internship opportunities provided thet provide industrial training which is not paid. their is final year reseach project which is also not taken seriously by the student as well as faculty.

Placement Experience

3

From 8th semester student became eligible for the placement. Their are few good pharmaceutical company visited such as macleod , cipla, lupin. The highest package is of 7 lakh per annum which only 1 in 100 get and also by student it's on not though the college. almost 90% of the student get placed. My plan is to get good job in off placement as our college did not provide placement in clinical research sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is decent good compared with other colleges. as pharmacy is a professinol course it require this amount of fee but in return after the course completion we did not get job in which salary is as good as the fees used to be. Scholarship is only given to SC/ST and OBC which is not good they should also provide scholarship to student who scored 80+ percentage in their 12th standard.

Campus Life

2

They organise the fest called as spandan which is a quit good event hepl students to built their communication skills and soft skills , boost their confidence too. It held in month of march. The range and acessibility of book and journal available in library are good but not updated with time. The amount of facilities and technological provision within the classroom is very bad. Sports and other extracurricular activity held every year which create good competative environment. Yes, some student run social group and club but they are not that much active and consistent.

Admission

The only eligibility criteria is qualification of 12th standard. The admission process was easy. Their is no entrance exam for the admission. The aplication form and other detail are easily available at campus. The difficulty level of exam is very low as the previous year paper get repeated which are predictable. Their should be more criteria for the admission as well as entrance exam should be their.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty to student ratio is too less as many faculty left our college and it has direct impact on our learning as the teacher who teaches us subject in which they have on expertise due to unavailability of that subject expert this left us with so many uncleared doubts. The faculty mainly focues on completing the syllabus rather than teaching the subject in detail which give insight about that subject to student yet the faculty's are well qualified. the interaction is very less or happen with few good faculty as other only focuses on completing their lecture and leaving the class as soon as possible. Some faculty have poor english so if we interact with them in english they get irritated.
