- One of the best among another government college they offer bachelor engineering in electronics and communication, mechanical, civil, computer science, electrical , and master of computer application , master of engineering in mechanical , EEE, ECE.
- Good infrastructure, library, highly equiped laboratory, gym , canteen, fin arts, culturals, technical symposium,good placement, well experienced professor , good placement up to 8 lpa
Dislikes
- Every month internal exam will be contacted if any fail they sent exam resut to student home address
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum was best , with real time examples they provide 8 semester for 4 years , first year they teach basic subject like engineering graphics, math's, physics, chemistry, in second year they teach core subject like electronics , digitals, signal and system, third year need to mini project or internship and need to select elective subjects, in final year need to final year project and need to chose 4 elective subject , they will conduct internal exam every month and semester exam for every six months, if you score fail mark they will send marks to your parents
Internships Opportunities :
In our collage provide internship on third year after completion of seventh semester , my friend offer internship from facilio company and got offer for 6lpa, i learn coding , aptitude , it help me to get job offer
Placement Experience :
Placement was very good average package was 7 to 8 lpa , separate placement cell is their to help student for placement preparation , after completing sixth semester students are eligible for placement student should have above 8 Cgpa without arrears, company visited airtel, jio, facilio, amazon , google, Microsoft, tcs , Infosys, etc. Highest package 8lpa average package : 5 lpa , 95 % of student got placement , i got offer from Bharati airtel as network engineer for 4.5 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Thanthai periyar government institute of technology is run by Tamil nadu government, tuition fees are very affordable, they won't raise college fees , i spend totally 50000 rs for 4 year engineering, tamilnadu government provides scholarship for students annually they provide college scholarship 15000 annually and hostel scholarship 10,000 rs annually , for placements they have separate placement cell for placement preparation , placement average package up to 8lpa
Campus Life :
Every year they have inter technical sysmposium like paper presentation , project expo, technical activity like circuit debung, coding hackathon , non technical ,event like treasure hunt , etc. , library open for 9 am to 6 pm, they have lot of international journal, laboratory facility also available, startup incubation cell , sports event conducted yearly , gym available, nss ,ncc, youth welfare, red cross, technical club , sports club , cultural club
Hostel Facilities :
In hostel they provide 24*7 Wi-Fi available , for sports have inner badminton court inside hostel, computer center, daily newspaper and weekly magazine , food are very good in quality and affordable monthly mess bill around 3500,
Admission :
Admission based on 12 th board exam conducted by tamilnadu goverment, also accept jee man score , cutoff mark include physics , chemistry, maths need to score above 180 out of 200 , application form available tamilnadu counsiling board official website, they follow reservations as per Indian government, semester exam conducted for every six month, internal exam conducted every month ,
Faculty :
Faculty to student ration 120 to 10 , for every 12 student one faculty ratio, faculty well experiences d well knowledge , for faculty tamilnadu government contact TRB teacher recruitment board exam for teacher posting allocation , some of the teachers they qualify gate exam also , faculty are in teaching top notch , they give awareness about gate, cat, upsc exam to how to prepare , they also mentor for our final year project , final year placement, we interact with teacher daily , they approach with student like friendly manner.
