  • I am from NEP batch or New Education policy batch so we have to study 7 subject for the whole semester which I believe is okay
  • The 66% criteria sometime cause difficulty in getting admit card for exam, it didn't happen with me but so can't say that much

Course Curriculum Overview :

I didn't choose the couse to be honest the course choose me. I didn't like my course at all when I first got it but now I am confident enough that I want to continue with my course in higher studies. I believe the curriculum should get modified as we are lacking a little practical knowledge but its quiet decent if I compare it with my senior batch. Exams are really easy to attempt the sad part is of time management I believe they can work upon that, but for me I manage my time during exam somehow.

Internships Opportunities :

There are several companies that hire from my college I don't have good experience with that but there are some companies usually come for hire like Zomato, Deliotte, Urban Comapany. But it can get better by time but the placement cell is also really amazing as far as I know but due to lack of knowledge I don't have good information about internships.

Placement Experience :

I don't know about other courses but for my course we usually don't get placed because we prefer to go for masters or Phds and I believe this help us get into research fields and then we can get a good pay for that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is 16k I think its decent in return what they are giving you. Though there is an increment of 2k from previous batch but I believe its worth it I don't have specific information on scholarship for student but there are some scholarship for people in need some are provided by the university and some by college itself. From my course people usually don't get placed because we prefer going for Phd but if you have made a good resume I believe you will get placed to good places

Campus Life :

I would never forget the moment I spent in Gargi. The people I met are amazing I have been in a lot of societies and my network is really nice around campus. The professors gere are amazing except for the attendance thing but the exposure you will get in Delhi University I don't think you will get in other university.

Admission :

You need to have physics chemistry and Biology as main subject in 12th You need to appear for CUET whose fee is around 1200 and 200 for applying to Delhi University (I am not sure of 200 but I think I have paid it ) Exam timings are managable and difficulty level is also not that hard but yeah you need you need to study hard to get into good colleges I believe conducting CUET exam should get improved because I faced technical issue during my exam as we had our CUET in online mode.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is quiet decent in my college but I believe there can be more scope to it. Faculty I would say definetly 9.5/10 because my experience with them is quiet decent except for one or two they are really kind will help you a lot with every situation doesn't matter if its personal too. One more I would lile to add even if it might not mean to you that much but the lab staff I would say they are the best they will be very strict with you the whole semester but when the exam day come they will be the one saving your life. Teachers are easily approachable and you can have any time session with them until and unless they are too busy in their own life obviously. But they will genuinely help you a lot in every situation.

Other Applied Colleges

Hindu College | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Zoology)

I got accepted in Hindu in the starting of my 2nd due to my good marks in 1st year but i didn't go there that college don't provide one of my favorite core subject which is neuroscience.

In DU you can get placement but for only bcom. There is negligible placement opportunities for the students of science background. But after completing the degree you can go for research and teaching feild and other competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are just awesome as they offer an average package of about 7-10 lpa but here most of the roles are slightly bent over the analyst role which means that more analyst roles are offered than others.

Placement Experience:

The placement are quite okay but college do prepare us for real world. Collgee do organise various events and seminars where renowned speakers come and share their stories and tell about how to implement things in real world. There is aslo annual placement drive happening in the college where students get their placements

Remarks:

Although college is not big in terms of infrastructure and has limited classrooms but all the facilities are available like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library etc. And they all are very good despite of government college all these facilities are in good working conditions.
