My college in my words

Dislikes

  • Environment is very polluted and infrastructure outside the college is very bad
  • Too much classes and high academic pressure

Course Curriculum Overview :

Till now when KIET was the part of Aktu affiliated colleges the curriculum was very outdated with industry standards. Teaching methodology was very standard. High frequency of exams with average difficulty level.

Internships Opportunities :

College directly doesn't provide any kind of internship to work with them but it provide platform for the students to visit companies and seek for internship. College also provides free courses and no mentorship program to the students.

Placement Experience :

Placement statistics is not good as of now. Even some of the 8th semester students are not placed till now. CS departments are suffering more. Mechanical department is performing good with avg 6lpa. Visiting companies are mainly startups. Highest package 12.5lpa Average package 4lpa (aggregate)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Before this year, college fee was 140000/year (including all charges) but since the college is going to be autonomous from this year hence the fees is going to surge up to greater extent. Management quota is also going to increase. Till now I haven't been undertaken as any kind of job role but I've got an internship from Salesforce intern.

Campus Life :

College have different social cultural technical clubs which overall provide a good experience of you are interested Annual cultural fest: EPOQUE. Annual technical fest: INNOTECH. SPORTS: cricket football tennis badminton volleyball basketball gym snooker Average sports exposure Uddeshya is a social club totally run by students ERP portal of college is handled by college students

Admission :

At my time it was based on UPSEE counseling based on JEE MAINS marks as well as direct admission on first come first serve basis But now, since the college is going to be autonomous hence admission will be in merit basis as well as management quota. The admission form can be accessed directly from college website or physically at the college. No reservations as of now. Frequency of exams is high with average difficulty level of exams.

Faculty :

Some professor have doctorate degree are at professor level and maximum professor are persuing their online doctorate degree while teaching. Approachability with teachers is quiet easy. Faculty also provide mentorship to student.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

In this college, there is 100 percent placement of all students. But some students choose to take admission in post-graduation. Post-graduation course is not available in this college due to University policy.
