- Firstly I would like to go with the curriculum of the course which is pretty much interesting. The computer science course along with the taste of mathematics enhance the development of student pretty well.
- Faculties are very friendly and available to you anytime you need and it doesn't matter even if he/she doesn't belong to your course, they'll solve your doubts for sure.
Dislikes
- Actually speaking, there are very less stuffs to dislike about the VIT Chennai campus.
- It's hard to play in the cricket or football grounds when it rains and the ground get fully wet. There's water all over and that is one thing, physical education department needs to take care of.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I said earlier the mathematics course along with computer science is the best combination for today's studies curriculum. The course provides you so many opportunities to get in corporate as well as research fields and the most important thing is you have the base foundation with this course if you want to do higher studies in the field of data science.
Internships Opportunities :
There are so many daily opportunities of internships both paid and unpaid are available for students. I also got an opportunity from Wipro this sem to go for a 1.5 months internship which was paying me 3000rs after completing the project. So there are good opportunities of internships on the campus.
Placement Experience :
There Is Avery high chances of you getting a placement for this course because of the PAT training sessions and also you will get the opportunities to sit with the btech cs students during the placement exams which makes you more motivated to get placed and avail the opportunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually speaking there's no need for any scholarship for this course because the total fee structure of this course is 2.25 lakhs which is pretty much decent even if you are from a middle class family and for a brand like VIT. For every year the college will provide you 8000rs if u r the first ranke holder in class, 5000rs for second, 3000rs for third and 1000rs for rank 4th-10th.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of VIT is truly made for students learning and all the extracurricular activities. There are numerous clubs along with technical, cultural, states, sports and every other type you can think of. According to me, the best experience you can get is when there is the fests like Technovit (Technical) and Vibrance(Cultural).
Admission :
There's no need of preparation for any entrance exam or interview because the course is totally merit based and you just have to have a percentage of 60 in your intermediate examination and 80 marks the mathematics subject.
Faculty :
In VIT, if you want to be a faculty thenyou have to be ready with your doctorate degree. Either it is from VIT or anywhere else. All the faculties to whom I have been taught by, are highly educated and well behaved as well as friendly to the students at the same time. All of them try to provide you a way for your higher studies along with your course.
