Likes

Food , hostel, library facilities it offers fresh morden infrastructure in developing educational hub with smaller class sizes
Industry exposure offers seminar, tech talks, workshop to most trending technology

Dislikes

Considering facts like no college is perfect but in terms of cost it has higher tuition fees compared to public colleges. This could be a financial burden on student's family.
Scholarship opportunities by SIT are too limited, you can increase your chances of finding financial aid to help manage the cost

Course Curriculum Overview :

There's usually a core curriculum which is compulsory for 1st and 2nd year but from 3rd year you get specialization and elective courses within your CSE branch. Project based learning is promoted on high scale for developing hands on experience to solve practical problems. I personally feel there should be a stronger partnership with relevant companies to provide internship. I know technical skills are crucial but incorporating soft skills like communication, personality development, teamwork need to be in areas of improvement. Talking about the frequency of exams SIT follows semester pattern strictly, exams are held after every 5 months i.e twice a year and 1 month leave after 2semesters completion for internship.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees if 270000. In addition to tuition fees, consider hostel charges, food, transportation books etc overall performance year it would cost 4 lakhs. There are limited on campus options but off campus options are higher to gain experience.

Campus Life :

Best thing no one can complain about it is the beautiful huge campus of SIT with well maintained cleanliness, every month one tech event is organised, once in sem culture event's are organised. Library has mostly every book if incase itvis not available they will order within a week

Admission :

Apply for SITEEE entrance most convenient way to pursue this college else you can also optain via JEE, MHCET exams but it has fewer seats . Eligibility is min 70 percentage in 12th and 65 percentage in entrance exam

Faculty :

All faculty members have PhD, MTech background specially expertise in field of Research and development. The ratio is actually small and I personally feel it is beneficial due to more individual attention to provide more personalized feedback, increased interaction and potentially adapt their teaching style. Professors allow students to contact them via email for academic clarification. Else you can visit them any time in staff room for one to one discussion. One of the best thing is professors are friendly and easily approachable. You can usually talk to them outside of class hours during office meeting to get guidance.

Placement Experience:

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.

My College Overview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

VIT : The Undiscovered Truth

Placement Experience:

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle,etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
