Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm from bsc biotechnology. It is a good course. Frequency and timing of examination are so perfect get a good time to prepare for the examination. Course is good in the field of research and forensic science.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 109500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

University provide many of internships for the students. Actually I'm 1st year student so I have not that much idea regarding companies offered by college, but I heard from senior that college provide a good internship for them.

Placement Experience :

From semester 6th students become eligible for campus placements.many of companies visits and made many of offers.students get avarage pakage as 4 lakh per container. approx 90 to 95% students getting placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Course fees a bit high in comparison to other colleges. But college provides many of scholarships programs to help the students. And the total cost of the education is 97,500 per sem .and college also provides many types of games and apportunity for the students to get many of awards.

Campus Life :

A very good range of books present in library related to every course present in University. Faculties and every technological provisions are provided in a good range. sports and extracurricular activities are also provided by University

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are good. A bed, 2 fans,2 tables, 2 chairs and and 1 almirah provided in each room of hostel. You can register for the hostel directly from the admin office during admission. But hostel's food is not that much good

Hostel Fee : INR 85000 per year

Admission :

You should have to atleast 12th pass for the admission is bsc biotechnology course. You can find the application form directly from the university site and can also get from the offline mode .at the time of admission you have to give a eligibility test.

Faculty :

Faculties behaviour are so good for the students. They are very supportive and students can always approach teachers if having any type of problems.faculy credentials are very good they provide mentorship program for the students having poor academics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.
