Remarks :

Good things are lot which i already explained in above section. Only bad thing I know some time mass bunks will be there. you cant ignore them and you cant attend classes even you want. Apart from that you will really enjoy Jodh mela there in dec month.Co

Entrance Preview :

I took the AIEEE entrance exam, I scored a approx. 65% and I chooses this because this is the one of the best engineering colleges in PTU and near to my home town. It is closer to Patiala, Ludhiana and Chandigarh.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is a good as per Indian education system standards. Optional subject are also good. Although out of the available optional subject as per curriculum, you will not get all choices. As mostly they will prefer the same optional subject for whole batch but selection is good. So will be part of that selection. College administration will not choose the default as this is to happen mostly colleges.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes there were few companies who come for internship enrollments and offered a stipend. But it is too low approx. 8000-10000. But don't take it guaranted. good stipend during internship is hard to earn for quality internship.I will suggest you not to go for this.

Placement Experience :

On some courses, the placements & job opportunities really good. but average for overall college. There lot of good placements drives inside campus. Because of the awesome infrastructure most of the big companies come there for placements only. and other college students also join you in these drives some times. Cognizent, L&T, Chema Boilers and many others are regular.

College Events :

There are few Techfests and festivals which our college holds. The techfest are big, the one remember, It is a three-day long event held towards the end of November every year. Its last edition which I attended (2007) witnessed a footfall of more than 15,000 students from more than 100 colleges from across the region. You enjoy festivals a lot specially Gurupurabs.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure feasible as per the university standards. Also relaxations are available for rural students. we cant comment more on fee structure as this is controlled on university level. College will never charge you any extra peny n any form.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Often scholarship are offered to rural and bright students. But I am not much aware about loan facility offered.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions are really good.Debates are always awesome. Sports ground is good. Big auditorium and indoor badminton courts are available.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilitates are good. Sharing and individual both kind of accommodations are available. The rentals are also cheap among others.Nearly 4000 per semester for individual ones. Mess is good. But as usually food will also be of that good quality always

Alumni/Alumna :

There is good alumni network. the pass outs are ruining there own companies are often offering placements. Alumni are from L&T, CTS, TCS, Infosys, PSPCL and other many organizations.

Exam Structure :

Exams are always bit tension, but labs are good and ample space smooths the whole exams session easy. After all it is really good and awesome.

Faculty :

Faculty was good. Improved a lot in later years. Labs are good still there is always a scope of improvement. The few good names are: Shami Jindal, Gurpreet Singh, HOD of Electrical Gogna and others

Placement Experience:

I don't have real-time data on specific universities or companies. Generally, campus placement eligibility varies, but students typically become eligible in their final semesters. Companies visiting and offers made depend on the university and its partnerships. For detailed placement information, check your university's placement reports. The highest and average packages, along with profiles offered, are company-specific. You can find this information in placement reports or from your university's career services. The percentage of students getting placements also varies; it's often mentioned in placement reports. As for my plans after getting the degree, I don't have personal
