Infrastructure is well and good ,ac classes,lifts are available
All basic facilities are available in campus like atm,banks,cafe,canteens

Not good in placement facility.No big company hires.
Teachers are not so serious about teaching.they just provide notes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Lecture method is used to teach syllabus.Curriculam is latest and relevant for real world application.Less focus on practical or experiential learning.internal exams are conducted 3 times in a semester.And level of internal and external exams are easy to moderate

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is semester wise along with one time admission charges.Govt and college provides scholarship for meritorious students.Total cost of my course around 1.5 lakh including all charges.Study loan also provided by University.

Campus Life :

Lots of festival and fests are organised by University every month.Wide range of books are available in library.Sports and co curriculum activities are organised frequently.A large playground is available for different sports.

Admission :

You can register online or can be done at University.Whole fee details and admission procedure are available on university website.Difficulty level of exams are low.And enough time is provided for exam.

Faculty :

Ratio of students and faculty is 20:1.Teachers are interactive and cooperative.But sometimes they do not focus on teaching.They just provide notes and do not explain topics.Though all teachers are well qualified with PHd degree.

Placement Experience:

Students go for training in the 2nd semester and most of them secure a job there itself, also campus placements are arranged for students in the 3rd and 4th semester. Companies that come for placements are Taj, ITC, Oberois, IHG, Marriot, Accor etc. highest package was 7.5 Lakhs per annum and the average package comes around 3.5 Lakhs per annum. Job Profiles offered are an assistant level manager and supervisory staff. 100% of students get placement, even some students secure more than 1 job. I am planning on becoming a government professor. For that, I have to give NHTET exam.

There is no any fixed highest packages but students get job in well reputed five star hotels and resorts like taj oberoi leela marriot . 90 % students easily get placement from on campus interview some of them go for walkin.my plant is to join academica after getting this degree

Placement Experience:

Students go for training in their 2nd semester, most of the students who want to work in the industry form their links and try to secure jobs during their training itself. Campus placements start in the 3rd Semester and continue in the 4th semester. Almost 100% placement by famous brands like Tata, Oberois, Hyatt, ITC, Marriot etc. highest package of my senior was of 7.5 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 3.6 lakhs per annum. 100 % placements, even some students secure 2-3 job offers. I plan to go into Academics and become a Government Professor, and for that, I have to appear for NHTET exam.

BHU is the University of World Fame.

Remarks:

Banaras Hindu University is very good university and Art faculty is the biggest faculty of Banaras Hindu University. Masters of Tourism Administration is a course of department of History of Arts. This course is of 2 years which is divided in four semesters. The course has a lot of scope as tourism is a developing industry which generates many job opportunities.The faculty is qualified and very cooperative. Our seniors were very helpful and cooperative. They assisted us in campus tour and some other some other small trips. They even helped us with our presentations and internship. National Symposium for travel and tourism was organised by the combined efforts of the students and teachers. Many other colleges also participated in this. We attended guest lectures from different teachers from different colleges. Presentations were given by professors as well as studentsWe took part in World Tourism Day and Spandan cultural event.
