M.Sc. IHM LUCKNOW

Remarks :

The nchm JEE is conducted every year to get admission into M.Sc. Hotel management. Only top rank holders get admission to this college. You are allotted the college based on your rank in the JEE exam. You can avail of category quota reservation. minimum age is 18 and the maximum age is 28. The admission process is smooth and everything can be done online.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to become a Government professor, therefore after my B.Sc., I chose M.Sc. for the same. Faculty: student is 1:20. Each faculty member is postgraduate at least and many have doctorates also. Smart and advanced teaching techniques are followed by young new generation professors. Exams happen twice per semester is midterm and end term. You can easily pass the exams just by listening in class attentively

Internships Opportunities :

You are free to do any part time internships of your choice. The college is reputed and can help you a secure internship in branded 5 star hotels. Some companies that intern our college students are Taj group, Leela group, HR companies, Oberois, ITC, IHG, Marriot, and other 5 star hotels. the stipend varies between 1000-5000 rupees depending upon the organisation. I did my industrial training at The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi. at 1500 rupees stipend per month

Placement Experience :

Students go for training in the 2nd semester and most of them secure a job there itself, also campus placements are arranged for students in the 3rd and 4th semester. Companies that come for placements are Taj, ITC, Oberois, IHG, Marriot, Accor etc. highest package was 7.5 Lakhs per annum and the average package comes around 3.5 Lakhs per annum. Job Profiles offered are an assistant level manager and supervisory staff. 100% of students get placement, even some students secure more than 1 job. I am planning on becoming a government professor. For that, I have to give NHTET exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee per semester comes around 50000-55000 so the total Fee for the course is around 220000(Four Semesters). It is quite justified as Hotel Management courses include a lot of practical class and costs. The fee is way less if we compare it with the fee of private colleges. No province of scholarships as such but you can easily avail study loan as the college is reputed and trusted. Currently a junior year student, so no jobs at the time being.

Campus Life :

All the festivals are celebrated in the college and enjoyed by students. Cultural and Organising club organises events and functions for students to have fun. Various clubs like Kitchen Club and FnB Club are available for students to join. You can also opt for photography/ gardening/ Editorial club. The library is huge, having numerous books and magazines to choose from. The classrooms are air conditioned and have smart boards. Sports day is held every year where students can participate in various sports and fun activities. Students themself form these clubs mentioned before and come up with their coordinators and supporting teams to manage events. campus life is amazing.
