KIET focuses on the acedmics very well and I think it benefits the students in their final exams.
There are many technical and non technical clubs which help the students

Dislikes

Campus size is compritively very small than other colleges in ghaziabad
Due to more focus on academics you'll get less time for coding

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of my interest in Computer Science. Syllabus and Curriculum is followed by AJTU University. But now KIET is autonomous body..they will improve the course curriculum. KIET curriculum is also good at this point of time because they conduct workshop and meets with Industry experts..they teach us about what is going in current market.

Class Size : 72Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are a lot of placement and internship opportunities in the college as college always send us the mail about the internship in several companies like JP Morgan, TCS etc. All you need is to skilled your self.

Placement Experience :

Placement of KIET college is pretty good as it's average package was 7.5 lpa previous year and maximum students were got placed but this year KIET placement is not upto the mark. Only 65% students are placed until May on the average package of 5.5 lpa because of current market scenario.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total tuition fee for B.tech course is 6.0 lakhs (including all charges). As it was connected with AKTU University then there was a scholarship provided by UP government. but now this is autonomous body hence no scholarship will be provided if you top your branch then your next semester fee will be waived.

Campus Life :

Campus is little bit small but well maintained. Campus life is quite good as there are many places to make out. There are 4 canteen in the college. library is well maintained with,all books are available here and it's fully AC. There is two ground in campus. All extracurricular activities are are done in the college. There's a lot of technical and non technical clubs in the college

Admission :

Eligibility- you must be a student of PCM for B tech course. Admission is done on the basis of jee mains percentile and also on the basis of 12th percentage. You can find the application form on the website of KIET college. If you are taking admission from counselling then go to AKTU counseling website. Admission process is very good here as you will be given a test also

Faculty :

All the faculties are well educated and maximum of them are GATE qualified even some of them have completed their masters from IITs and NITs. Maximum faculties are very supportive towards students but some of them are very strict. Their teaching approach is very good.

Interview Experience :

No, I didn't give any GD or written test because I took admission in the counseling on the basis of my jee mains percentile. If you will take direct admission here..then most probably you have to give GD and written test.

4the year students are eligible to sit for the placements. Placements here are not so good frankly speaking and one who wants a good placement needs to apply for off campus placements. Placement Experience:

The students can start applying for college placements from 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit for placement opportunities. The highest package was 24L for one year. The percentage of students getting college placements is very low considering the competition in this field. My plans are to join the army, but keeping the engeneering field as a backup.

Decent college for Btech

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. companies visited in campus are tcs, Microsoft, google accenture, etc etc. The highest package offered is 15 lpa and the average is around 3 lpa percentage of students placed is around 30% after graduation i plan to opt for job
