Course Curriculum Overview :

in first of all , i never know that which branch is suitable for , from preparation time i always work in tech site but also interest in chemistry, industrial, field work. so i choose chemical engineering.not so much idea as i am in first year thats it

Internships Opportunities :

here our internship happens for 2 year and for the last 3 year, many seniors got internships and stipends of around 30-50k. many got also placed in that company for best performance like tcs, wipro. I have this much information.

Placement Experience :

from mainly 3year of course students can sit for placement or internship. many multi national company visited for recuirment like TCS ,WIPRO, GOOGLE ,MICROSOFT, FLIPKART,JWS AND many more highest package around 1.5 cr and average -10lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am so much glad to part of this best engineering college jadavpur where btech fee is lowest in india around 10-15k for four year. and college give us low semetser fee.college alumni give talented student for scholarship

Campus Life :

here our annual fest name SANSKRITI have a unique news that it take no sponser it fully organised by students, alumni, college funds. many sports events also organised like U-TURN, tech fest -srijan and many more

Admission :

here reservation also used for admission.for all category students like st ,sc,obc, ews etc. that help in admission for higher branch . application form avalaible in wbjee website in specific exam date

Faculty :

our college faculty members are so much high qualification , in first time i was hesitate to interact with them, but day by day pass they help not only me for all of us conducting internal exam with our favourable date ,which book we follow which topic important or not.that is enough

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
