Academics is great in my college. My college have best faculty of professor with great experience and knowledge
Second thing I like about my college is infrastructure it has great infrastructure compared to other colleges in Delhi University

Admin department is very rude towards student in dealing with problems
Canteen is not that great I would say. Food quality is just average not that great

Course Curriculum Overview :

My priority was Bcom hons or bcom because du offers great bcom curriculum as compared to other universities. The curriculum of course is strictly followed in my college. Teaching method of professors is great

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 14000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of my course is around ?14000 and I think it is a bit high compared to other central universities. But you got alot of scholarship and financial aid opportunities in your first year only. One thing I don't like is you have fill examination form separately

Campus Life :

My overall experience till now is great like everything is going great. Faculty is great. Crowd is also very good students come from different part of India.Some societies event are always going on. You will get great happening college life. The annual fest name is TIDE organised by student union. Big artist come to our colleges. This year fest Ajay hooda and Amit Mishra had performed in our campus

Admission :

The only way to get admission in du is by appearing in Cuet examination conducted by NTA. Cuet is not that easy you have to do a proper study to crack this exam and along with you have to register yourself in CSAS portal of Delhi University. The cutt off of Arsd college is very high in top courses. You have reservations benefit but still cutt off is high that case to.Cuet exam timing for I subject is 1 hour and exam is a bit difficult to.

Faculty :

Faculty of professor of my department is very great and well experienced. They have there own way of explaining things. Faculty to student ratio is also good. professors are also very supportive towards students.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year and the companies that visit our campus are deloitte,kpmg india, kpmg global and pwc india, the highest package offered was 22.5lpa and the average package is 6lpa and around 85% students are usually getting placed, my plans after this degree is to pursue mba abroad

The reality of Choosing an Open Degree

Placement Experience:

From 3rd or 2nd year onwards maybe you'll be able to have do internships for placement opportunities. Like 40or 50% students gets placed .after getting this degree i may be going for IIM .So a course like bcom doesn't attract a high package.

Class 12th exams. College was close to my residence and one of the renounced colleges in commerce field.

Admission:

The college is under Delhi University so if follows the DU admission process of filling up forms and declaring cut off lists. I filled up the form and waited for cut off lists declaration. I got my name listed in 3rd cut off list. Paid admission fees and got the admission.
