  • When we bunk classes an sms would go to our parents mobile. It kinda good thing but not for a student.
  • There is a time to stay in college after 6pm we are not allowed to stay in the campus only hostel students are allowed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

After my plus two I was researching about what course should I take and BCA came to my eyes. I made the best decision because in placements all company wants a student from BCA that is the value we get there. And in the case of higher studies there is a wide opening to that also. In our 6th sem there is a subject called system software it is really difficult to study it is an optional subject.

Placement Experience :

After 5th sem the companies come to our college the first company that came this year was accenture and i got in the first attempt. There should be atleast 60% overall to attent the aptitude test. Most of the companies make a cut off at 60 other companies doesn't specify any cut off. The highest package was 3.8LPA there will be a minimum of 3LPA. Accenture, TCS, Deloitte are the companies that i applied and remember of. I got selected in accenture so I'm planning to work there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For a BCA student it only take around 1,20,000 to pass out it's only tution fees. In the first year it was 43000 and it the second year 39000 and in third year 42000. And for every sem exam ther will be exam fees during the registration of exam that's according to the subjects if there is lab exam that sem the fees would be high like 1200. Every year there will be union fees also that aorund 550.

Campus Life :

Campus life was awesome at christ. There is huge campus with lots of infrastructure waiting for you. There is two gardens one mixed garden and one only for girls. This one is main spot for students to hangout. And apart from this there are lots of other places. So many grounds for sports. There are many clubs i was a part of a club called thavanish it's a social service club that donall kind of services. Apart from that there is nss, ncc, film club, reading club, cycling club, etc.

Admission :

To get a merit seat you should atleast have a minimum 95% in your plus two I was a commerce student i had 95.6% and I got in. It's tuff competition to get into BCA. The admission process is very simple christ is a autonomous college so we have to apply it separately. I completed my whole admission process at home. If we are eligible for the course they will call us.

Faculty :

There is many faculty it'll be less than students that i can tell about sure. But i can't tell the correct ratio. In my department all faculty members were friendly and approachable. We can enter into the staff room and ask for anything anytime. When they are correcting anser papers we can't enter lol. I had a great time there with all the teachers and staff. \

Other Applied Colleges

Sahrdaya College Of Advanced Studies - [SCAS] Kodakara | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] (Finance)

I got there for b.com and after a few days i got a call from cheist whime comparing these two christ is way better than sahrdaya withthe campus and the studiess. And christ has the number one bca course in kerala

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is not too hard, and the updated one for the 4 year course eases the students into the course a bit more comfortably. The one bad thing is the scheduling of the internal exams, they conduct the exams almost one after the other and that too, without any gaps in between, save for the weekends. This way of conducting exams without gap days is very harmful for the student's mental health.
