All professors are well qualified in their field and the style of teaching is best thing
Almost all students come from different places (all over India) , so the students know different aspects of culture.

There is a gap between students and administration. This should not be happen.
Students representative type of thing is not here. There should be a elected students representative.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The scope of Social Work is increasing day by day not only as a subject but also as a profssional degree. In future I think this will be a demanding profession so I chose this subject. Overall subject curriculum is good but there should be improvement in the area of fieldwork.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For management and Engineering students the facility of internship is availed through their respective departments and companies like CCL, AMUL, PANTALOONS, and others give the opportunity for this. For MSW students CIP( Central institute of psychiatry) and Vikas Bharti provide the internship facility. Overall internship facility is satisfactory at this University.

Placement Experience :

Placements are provided to students of management, engineering and languages (Korean and Chinese) and many people are benefiting from them. The university is requested to provide placements for other departments as well. This will be good for the students belonging to various departments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fees is affordable for almost all students its 12000rs. For who they are not able to pay or if their financial background is not well, there are various schemes provided by state and central government.

Campus Life :

My overall experience in this University is good and there are many things that will attract anyone to this University, like the infrastructure, the location of this University and many more. There are some clubs in this University and doing well among the students. I have also founded a students club named "Aavahan" at the department level.

Hostel Facilities :

There are two campus under this University( Brambe campus and Manatu new campus), the hostel facility, environment and the hostel life of Brambe campus are better than Manatu campus. In terms of affordability also Brambe campus is better than Manatu campus. Hostel facility in the campus is affordable than rental rooms outside the campus.

Hostel Fee : INR 3600 per year

Admission :

Those who want to take admission in this university must first fill the CUET exam form organized by NTA which is organized every year. In the CUET form, one has to choose CUJ according to the availability of their subject. On the basis of CUET marks, one can take admission after the name appears in the cutoff. The cutoff is different for general OBC and SC/ST candidates. The admission process is not that difficult in this University.

Faculty :

I belong to the department of Anthropology and Tribal studies under the school for the study of culture, the teacher student ratio in this department is more than satisfactory. The faculties approach to teaching and their interaction with the students is one of the best thing I found here.

A brief gist of CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF JHARKHAND

Course Curriculum Overview:

My motivation behind choosing social works was to study how to deal with problems and issues of others. Dealing with different prospects of life and the enhancement of living conditions. My faculty has a very holistic approach for this. They share about the different experiences and opportunities. Motivate us to grab different opportunities and the course curriculum contains different aspects of tribal welfare dimensions like customary laws, different regulations about tribals and this helped me to understand each and every aspects of my subject and develop an approach towards working with tribals like focus on what is strong in them instead of what is wrong in them. But it lack some important things like concurrent field works and the motivation to practice what's learnt.
