Likes

The thing that I liked the most about the college is that the campus is always very clean and green
I also like few faculty members as few faculty members are very supportive in the college
The curriculum offered in my course was better than the curriculum offered for same course in different college.

Dislikes

Rules and regulations - There are many rules and regulations in the college for maintaining jayantian decorum, some people might find it difficult.
Though the campus is very well maintained, there are some classrooms which have broken projectors but the college also focuses to keep them right.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many things which are to be considered for this course - 1) The course's curriculum is much better than the one offered by other colleges. 2) Co-curriculum activities are also focused and encouraged in KJC 3) Although the course is good, there are still some things which are kinda outdated Eg - WEKA

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees which I paid for this course was 75k per annum and it was a 3 year course, the fee might be increased now as I am in my final year and apart from this there are examination fees which you have to pay for every semester. College has various scholarship and financial aid schemes for deserving students

Campus Life

The overall campus experience is very good as the campus is very clean and green and the club involvement and co-curricular activities are also encouraged very much by the college and are a part of curriculum for holistic development

Admission

The admission process was very fast and efficient, The admission process consists of 2 major levels - Application Shortlisting - After applying the applications are reviewed and shortlisted for the interview. Almost every applicant gets a chance to represent themselves in an interview. Interview- For my admission I took an online interview with a panel of 3 faculties, they all asked me questions related to my personality and my knowledge.

Faculty

Few of the faculty members whom I met are very supportive, most of the faculty members are phd and very well educated, but everyone has different teaching styles. Students might find some faculty members' teaching style easier or harder to understand

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BCA curriculum is decent with good basics, but needs more industry-relevant topics like AI and cloud computing and I also think it will start after 3rd sem. Practical exposure is good, but exams feel frequent and slightly rushed.

I mainly choose the course because I heard the college was top in Mangalore and it provide best teaching. Although some were correct and some not. The curriculum the college prepared is nice, but majority were outdated topics and idk it will help the students to get jobs in modern world with modern technologies.

A good affordable college with variety of courses to study

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am more interested in learning computer I took BCA (Bachelor of computer application). Nowadays digital works are increasing. The world is technically improved. So I wanted to learn more about computers and opted this course. I got to learn more about the course, how it is beneficial for our career, what are all need to improve our skills, how it is relevant with the real world, and more. I don't have any complaint with the teaching methods but what I feel is apart from the book I wanted a teaching facility of practical things and guidance. For 60 marks paper we have 2 hours of time limit to complete. I don't feel too much difficult on this issue.

Placement Experience:

When a batch reached in the final year so that will become eligible for the placement means companies start the providing offer to the students. But some students interested in govt. I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
