The overall infrastructure of IPCW is fabulous, as it is quite unique from the famous red buildings of University of Delhi .
The management is active, and helpful to children. And as of the fee, students get all the facilities that would have been provided by the college

It is often seen that the administration things are not on time, and mostly get late
As it out of the actual north campus, their is a lack of college vibe because the college is not so engaged in politics and also there are rare visitors in the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Geography is a subject that studies all other streams in itself. Geography is a practical subject and the learners have the advantage to practically analyse the aspects of a certain geographical area. Geography students are taken for field trips and they experience new adventure with every new lesson. Taking geography as a subject was not my choice and I got this subject by chance but Now I feel like It is the best subject someone gets by choice

Class Size : 62Course Fees : INR 38575 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is quite high as compared to colleges like Miranda, lady shri ram college etc. But the campus compensates the fee as we have the best college infrastructure including seminar rooms, Gym, Swimming pool, parks, canteen etc. Scholarships are provided to bright students and the reserved sections.

Campus Life :

Annual fests are conducted in the college which provides great fun. IPCW has the biggest library amongst all the colleges of Delhi University, and ample books are available. Big class rooms and well maintained labs for practical students . Different societies provide studnets the chance to grow their talent and a chance to receive spotlight.

Admission :

The admission process is not fully online. The cut off goes from 650-780 depending on the categoy of students. Once the total process has been completed on the CUET and Samarth portal then nothing is to be done in the college and the admission is done completely online.

Faculty :

Though the effectiveness of the faculty varies from teacher to teacher , but I will say that Geography Department has got the best faculty either it is male or female every teacher is very helpful and everyone id highly qualified. The same goes for the faculty of other departments. Since I have not studied from them so I can pass no comments, but what I hear from the students is that the teachers are very cooperative to students

My dream college

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Experience of life with this college

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body.The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.

Our college has JEET placement Cell. JEET provides weekly updates on new internships. There are too many opportunities. However my course, Psychology doesn't have placement opportunities as such as Psychology is a complex field that has yet to be Specified in Masters.
