Course Curriculum Overview :

I am in etce department in jadavpur university. It's a great privileged for me to persue my b.tech here .Course curriculum is actually relevant to industrial prospective and very helpful to get into the relevant field in future.

Class Size : 86Course Fees : INR 3000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships opportunities are quite decent here and average stipend is offered like 39,000.Good companies like texus instrument, deutche bank and google are available here to give internship . Internships stats are really good here.

Placement Experience :

Jadavpur university is a tier 1 college.So,placement is outstanding here.Average package is 19 lpa for etce department. Great placement stats and internship opportunities are available here.250+ companies visited last year .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My 4 year tuition fees is like 12000 and if u take all the other expenses is like 8000 per month .So it is not too much.I have been granted for two scholarship like HDFC and svmcm (government),which was like 1,10,000.

Campus Life :

Since,Jadavpur university is a state university, so fund is low as compared to IIT.Infrastructure is not as good as should be.But ,in other side ,campus life is really awesome and library is there. Classroom is good and environment of learning things is really awesome.

Admission :

Get into premier institute loke jadavpur university,admission ia done through WBJEE.Anyone should have 60%in physics ,60% chemistry,60% in math and 45% in English.My rank was 1241 gmr in WBJEE and 34 in OBC.So I have got etce in my first round easily.

Faculty :

Faculties are to good in terms of educational qualification and behavior. All teachers are highly qualified and great supporter to students in learning and helping them in practical works.Teachers are always available for students in need

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.
