Remarks :

It's a really great college and it's sure that the memories will remain forever. The only negative that I feel is that since the college is autonomous and so some decisions that make the college will affect the smooth working with the university. I also have an issue with a certificate because of the university and the college issues.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's good and updated. It's an autonomous college and has special lecturers for course selection and curriculum selection. Each semester is in great order with basics to advanced level of the syllabus. The lectures are very good and have a practice session as well since the college has so many courses so the exam structure will vary according to that. An academic year is consists of 2 main semester exam and 2,3 internal exams. Every course has theory exams and also viva exams and practical exams.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the college provides the internship. Most of the internships are outside and the stipend will decide the company. The internship options are either some days to last for months and the stipend will get according to that. Also, we get the experience certificate also. College provides so many job fair and campus interviews exclusive for students. Every year ending function will have job fairs also. The placements are done by both international and domestic companies.

College Events :

College provides so many job fair and campus interviews exclusive for students. Every year ending function will have job fairs also. The placements are done by both international and domestic companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Some courses are self-financing and some of them are not, so self-financing fee varies from courses and the fee structure is semester based. Overall the fees are not expensive and the college will help the education loan if need and also have many scholarship programs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So many scholarship programs are in college for students and they are really helpful. Some of them are based on the academics and some of them are cast and financial background base. The application for this provide at the college office and also they will help to get the education loan if need. The process is fast and it's really helpful.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities include both indoor and outdoor sports, cultural fest and the programs that come with it. Every department has its own labs and they are really functional with so many facilities. Also, the inter-college fest is arranging in theirs.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni and its programs are really great. I am alumni and the college is conducting an alumni fest every year. Also, they are really helpful to keep in touch with the College and alumni have their own groups to contact and college also contact each and every alumni person also.

Admission :

The minimum percentage for joining the PG course is 60% and have an entrance exam and an interview to attend and should pass to qualify to study. After the online registration for joining I attend the entrance aptitude test and should pass with a minimum of marks. If the student got pass they will call for an interview and should perform well for that also. The interview that attends was with 3 lecturers and the process took around 10 to 15 minutes. If the student got to pass in that interview then we can take the admission on the prescribed date with proper Certificate

Faculty :

The college has many faculties and they are really good in their respective field and have good experience as well. Also, the college provides extra workshops and outside guest lecturers for additional classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well constructed and organised which is very helpful for the preparation of many competitive examinations. The exams are difficult and also delayed, results aren't announced in time. Teaching methods are good and are applicable in the real world

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus they provide are above average. But the implementation in terms of time provided to cover the syllabus is also average. Exams come in a rush and the time allowed is less when compared to the vast syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature is something I loved since schooling. I remember going to school library and reading a lot of Shakespeare's novels and other books. I always admired world of Shakespeare. My interest in books and literature made me choose English literature. When I was searching for a good college, a lot of people suggested Nehru College which had the best faculties of English. College was a bit far from home but I decided to give it a try which was worth it. I had the best experience in nehru. The curriculum evaluation makes sure that all the objectives required for a student is fulfilled. They make sure that the students are getting the best possible way of learning. Also they give us insights about the further studies. Along with academics, the faculties make sure that they prepare us for various competitive exams like UGC NET. The only area where the literature students face stress is exams. The paper is very lengthy that students find it difficult to complete the exam on time.

The syllabus is very well structured, because it is structured as same as the NET examination syllabus also. So it's very useful for the students. Also they cover every chapter in the syllabus on time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good faculty and availability of museum and library, more than academics the college and course provides extra benefits such as communication skills, personal development etc.. Teaching method is still the old school method were teachers spoon feeds the students it must be limited and self teaching methods should be encouraged more, there the sem exams will be 2:30 hrs and those are more subjective and extra papers included languages like Hindi , Malayalam,Tamil, English.(it's according to institutions)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this course was taken with great interest, the need for improvement was realized during the course. There was no continuation of what was studied in each semester. The curriculum should be improved and an updated syllabus should be included. Exams are conducted at regular intervals. There is a growing need to improve the teachers because being a government college it seems that in many cases the teachers are not doing their job and the class is progressing only through seminars and presentations. At the same time, it has been possible to get to know the scholars and gain a lot of knowledge through some of their classes
