Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum are pretty decent. Some Subjects are according to applications based and some subjects are outdated . The frequency & timing of exams should be improved. The areas for improvement is curriculum, Explanation, methods .

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are pretty good in NITA. Many companies visit our campus for recruitment, companies like Google ,Project 44 , Amdocs ,Tata Chemicals, Oracle, Seimens, Genpact, TCS, Tata Power etc. Placement percentage is around 75% +.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees are very much high for general students, The complete cost nearly 5.6 lakhs for the whole course for B.Tech. There are many scholarship such as NSP, Ishan Uday scholarship etc. Campus placement offers are good in NITA .

Campus Life :

It has huge greenery campus with wonderful weather.Good Academic curriculum with many diversified courses.RNT hostel is one of the best hostel among NITs.Aryabhatta Hostel needs to be improved as it is the oldest one.Mess food is not upto the mark in hostel. NITA's sports Complex is one of the biggest sports Complex among all NITs.There are two fest happena every year , Moksha in the month of November & Aayam in the month of March Library is pretty good & huge in size .

Admission :

You should have a decent JEE Mains rank with 75% above mark. Application for JEe can be seen in NTA platform to register for JEE exam . Application fees is 1000 for boys & 800 for female (Gen). For SC, ST, PWD it is 500. The frequency of exam is according the level of competition that is decent.

Faculty :

Faculties are pretty decent. The faculty to students ratio is 1:110. Some professors have decent way to explain the topics to the students but same fail to express. But faculties are interactive except few.

The overall college is really good you will enjoy a lot

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

tuition tuition fee is like it will depends on the early income of your family if it's lower than 1 lakh there are some subsidies and if it's like between 1 to 5 legs there different subsidies and if it's over 5 or 8 legs the fee is really really high it's like 72 80k for each and every semester and the if I talk about the hostel fee the hostel fees around 30000 semester

Let's know all about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are getting offered for college placements. There are total 300-400 companies visit in our college and make around 600-700 offers. I got placed in ORC ENGINEERING having a LPA of 2.5-3.5 . The highest package of 2024 year is round 40 lakhs and average package is roughly around 5 LPA. Around Total 60% students placed this year. My next plan is to prepare for gate exams along with my jobs.

A Good College

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placement from 3rd year itself. Though it is highly unlikely that placement offers come in 3rd year as it comes mostly in 4th year, but there has been cases where 3rd year students also get placed. Besides placement, one can even get good internships which based upon their performance can later get turned to a placement offer. Many good companies have visited and have hired students from this college.

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Gennerally, students who maintained their cgpa above 7.5 gets placed. There were many companies which visited for placements. Software firms such as Oracle, Nvidia, Paypal, Seimens, Paytm, Rapido, Mathworks, Dell, Qualcomm, Chargebee, etc. Core manufacturing companies such as Vedanta oil and gas, Dalmia, Maruti suzuki, CEAT tyres, Ashok Leyland, etc. The percentage rate of placement is around 85%. The highest package is INR 52 LPA offered to CSE and EE branch students. Also Oracle offered placements to around 20 students with CTC of INR 35 LPA. Average package of CSE if INR 14.5 LPA whereas for ECE, it is INR 13.84 LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to get good placement from the college where i can get good work experience and also i am planning to do masters from IIt for which i will prepare for gate examination.
