- environment of college is good, green levish campus
- seniors are friendly, whatever help you need they"ll provide maximum help and guidence from their side.
Dislikes
- far from main city, it's almost 15km away from the main city and took more than hour to reach the main city.
- not much active for doing things like hackathon and the events students suggest, students have to force so much for making them agree for these type of things.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is good, they try to teach the specified syllabus very nicely but they are not updated in curriculum that much in 1st semester CS students have one subject for C programming and in 2nd semester there is no subject related to CS . I think that's bad and in 3rd semester they teach DSA in C language which is not so much asked nowadays, they should try to teach according to latest trends like DSA in C++.
Placement Experience :
students get eligible from campus placemnts from 3rd year, there are some companies which visit college for campus placements, but you cannot expect so much high pakage from campus placements, try to get placement on your own. The average package is 4 lpa and highest as of now is 12lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Currently for students who pursued B.Tech in 2023 have fees of 1.4 lakh yearly which is about 5.6 for the complete course. They do not have to pay for any extra things related to college but they are now introducing uniform which costs 4000. Additionally they a scheme for those students who can't pay the complete fees at a time of a year. In that students have to pay 40% of fee while studying and the rest of fees after placement. So many students take admission through this scheme.
Campus Life :
There is one week annual fest named Spandan which is held in the month of December in which both sports and cultaral events are available to participaete. Library is ok , you can books suitable and related to your syllabus and recommended by teachers. There is one black board and one projector board in classroom for students to study. teahers sometimes teach on black board and sometimes with the help of projector. there are some sports and extrsa curricular activies like poster making competitons are held. There is one student coding club named "Nexux" by students which aims at helping students in knowing about technical events and webiars and activities which help them grow.
Admission :
There is not any fixed eligibility for the course , if you want to take admission just directly register on their website, they"ll call you and directly tell you the further process pof admission,. The application form is available on the official website of Jagannath University Jaipur and after filling the form they"ll ask for some seat booking money which is aslo a part of fees, that is not any extra charge. I think they have to fix a certain percentage and criteria for admission so that good quality students come to college and the environment of university become better among students.
Faculty :
the faculty to students ratio is about 1: 40 and they are good , some faculty are very much supportive and try to help you best academically and also sometimes attendence. Some teachers tell you about some latest tech events and also try to organize workshops and seminars for students and teachers talk to students like friends maintaing the teacher student boundaries.
