Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum of the institute is not very up to date as i was filling for comedk , i saw that KEA and KISCHE , of karnataka govt bodies which look over the courriculum have changed a lot and up to date course curriculum but the ground reality is way more different it is as irrelevant as Every mediocre indian college and comprehensiveness is also as same as any other teir2 , tier 3 colleges.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is not very good but because of the tution fees lesser than other colleges ROI is not different from those colleges, as per the colleges official newsletter the average package was 6.13 lpa but on website they tell employebility rate to be 90 % but as per the upcoming recession cannot predict the future.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Every general comedk student have to pay a much higher fees than every other student which is around 3,00,000/yr including all registration and all formalities, not including the expense of living . But other categories get a lot of fees benifits like jammu and kashmir students have a lesser fees also there govt pays it so they need not to pay a single penny , karnataka localites give kcet exam through which fees is about 1/4th to 1/5th of the any non localite student.

Campus Life :

College do have a campus life but not better than other colleges , mostly events are not very intriguing because the celebraties are mostly from Karnataka, which is not very pleasing for any non localite. Also clubs involvement is in a much better state , i guess clubs are the only thing which is as good as expected , also events just happened like tiranga and viberation in December and january , were kind of good events but asked for lot of entry fees . Also college infrastructure is only good in some buildings but students study in all old building's only , new buildings are only for showing off on online.

Admission :

The admission process was very hectic, chaotic because of the comedk counselling, in first iteration itself they ask for 1 year tution fees , which restricts the student to take a chance to apply for other colleges because a huge amount of around 2.5 lac to 3 lac has already gone , Even after spending that much students don't get to choose it's all random and depends on the priority order of the list that student applied during the counselling, Also what i don't appreciate is that college ask different fees from different students for examples localites have toh pay 1/4th to 1/5th of the fees that we non localites pay and some other reservation students like jammu and kashmir people fees is also less that is what i feel is not fair and i don't appreciate that .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

Placement Experience:

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
