Remarks

Ultimately, this college has a lot of potential to do but doing nothing. Students are taking admission, sitting in exams, passing exams getting 60-70% and graduation ends here. Really the administration of this college needs to take some necessary steps to make the condition of the college better. So students start taking interest in coming to college. And they can get atmosphere like what a real college has.

Entrance Preview

This is only government autonomous college in my district Chhatarpur. It process of conducting examination and providing results is more fast as compared to other colleges. It provides very good sport facilities. It has its own stadium to conduct every kind sport as well as this college is also promoting its students in sports upto National level.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course curriculum is quite good and provides comprehensive knowledge to take and research in it. But the thing is you would not be introduced to that material which are necessary to get research done. You will be limited to your books and course.

Internships Opportunities

No, my college is not providing any real internship. However they send to some institution to do work there but it has not been considered very necessary. It has taken for granted.

Placement Experience

0.5

No, there is not any sort of placement and job opportunities after graduation. However, an unnecessary function is always organized by the government called 'ROZGAR MELA' but the truth is nobody gets any rozgar their. Sometimes we introduced to various government schemes like 'STILL INDIA' under this scheme they try to train us but this not that much effective so we can get a job outside.

College Events

0.5

1. Annual function 2. Painting and Rangoli competition 3. Yuva Mahotsav. 4. Essay competition. 5. Debates (sometimes) 6. Ncc day 7. District level and state level competitions of several sports 8. Football matches 9. Badminton matches 10. Cricket matches 11. Rifle shooting Annual function and district or state level sports are organized in the stadium and a huge crowd come to enjoy themselves there. An annual function is organized for 2-3 days. And games and sports are conducted for one months and other sports organised time to time. And in every event a chief guest is invited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is feasible. It is being government instructions so fee is not quite high I had completed my whole graduation within? 12,000. While under graduation we need to pay fee three times for admission 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and three times examination fee. Admission and exam fee is different for different branches. But for all courses, admission fee and exam fees are not more than? 1500 except computer scene course. If U opt for CS you need to pay -8000

Fees and Financial Aid

Some kinds of scholarships are also provided to those students who are from reserved categories. And if You have good percentage in class 12th you would scholarship of ?10,000 per year. No specific scholarship for general category.

Campus Life

2

The gender ratio is good. A number of male and female students are studying there. But now comes the worst part of college and it is that students of this college are not quite interested in taking participation in extracurricular activities. Even after having labs nobody does experiments there. IN a very short way debates are organized, sports facilities are good but nobody takes participation. The atmosphere of this college is just to pass exams with 50-60% that's it. Out of 10,000 students, only 150-400 students are aware of various scholarships, attending college, doing lab experiments, participating in sports. A political platform is also very bad like Delhi University we don't get a platform here to speak out our thoughts. Just we have a group of influential people they unnecessary demand irrational things like why students are getting failed? Increase the dates of exam... Nothing else. This is the saddest part of this college.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is not any hostel facilities and mess food provided by an institution. You need to take a room on rent. At Chhatarpur rent is not very high. It is around ? 1500-3000 for a room. Or you can get a hostel outside very easily. But the rent of both hostel and rooms are same. It would be better to have a room. And you can maid or tiffin from any nearest restaurant at affordable price around ? 1000 for a month.

Alumni/Alumna

There is not any culture of junior senior like other colleges. There are just some students who passed their 1st or 2nd year but nobody treat them as a senior. And yes they only help us in giving information about questions paper. How would it be?? What kind of questions in exam are asked? Not more than this.....yes one more thing they help..., where is the principal office or particular class room??

Exam Structure

Exam structure is changed recently by a government from semester exams to a yearly exam. And every sixth months CCE(continuous comprehensive evaluation) is conducted of 15 to 25 marks. In CCE years it is compulsory to pass. If you fail you will not get the chance to attend the main exams. In a main exam you get 1 paper of math, 3 of chemistry, 2 of physics, 1 of Foundation courses on different days. One day only one examination is conducted.

Admission

We need to go through counseling of colleges. On the basis of merit list students get their selection. After selection we just need to fill the the form of college and submit it along with proper document (12th Mark sheet, cast certificate, transfer certificate etc) as mentioned inside the form. And while submitting u need to pay fees according to your branch.

Faculty

1.5

The best in college that we have always been taught by qualified professors. And some guest faculty also get the chance to teach students. But some of the professors and guest faculty are not really interested in teaching. And students are also not quite interested to be taught by them. That's why u would only 30 to 40 students attending college out of 300.

Placement Experience:

About about 70% of students are placed in our course. Highest package is of Rs. 40000 and the lowest is Rs. 20000. Lupin, sun Pharma , Pfizer, Novartis, Bharat bioTec, Biocon are the leading companies which offer jobs in companies. Placement criteria firstly starts with aptitude test , then a mock interview for preparations and career development cell grooms students towards professionalism and teach them learning etiquettes. Approx. 60 percent of students get internship in immunology and company like Sun Pharma and Lupin. HR, digital marketing, content writing, designing head, etc. My plan after getting graduate from Biotechnology is that I will join the field of agriculture biotechnology and start a business which supports farmer's development and solve their ground level problems.

Admission:

My parents advised me to apply for this college. Cut-offs are often higher as toppers are attracted by this college. I registered using the epravesh website of the MP Government. It was an easy process. After that, I have to get my documents verified at the nearest help center which was in my town itself. After verification, I had to wait for the list to be announced. This is also a completely online process. After you get to know that you are selected, you have to download the call letter and then go to college.
