Course Curriculum Overview :
Basically, Cinema is my passion and the best course to understand cinema is a degree in multimedia. The effectiveness of a BA multimedia curriculum in preparing you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits can vary depending on the specific program and its focus. Generally, a good multimedia program should provide you with a solid foundation in various aspects of multimedia production, including design principles, digital media technologies, project management, and perhaps even specialization areas like animation or interactive media.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total course fees for 3 years ( 6 semesters) is 2,10,000 indian rupees excluding other rates. To my knowledge there hasn't been any hikes in the college fees since 2-3 years. There are ofcourse other charges including college functions, events, projects , assignments, tour etc.
Campus Life :
Sure, my overall experience with campus life was quite fulfilling. The social aspects were vibrant, with plenty of opportunities to meet new people through events, clubs, and activities. In addition to the vibrant social aspects of campus life, my experience was further enriched by active involvement in the Film Club. Being a part of the Film Club provided me with opportunities to explore my passion for cinema. A wide range of books and accesories are available in the library.
Hostel Facilities :
My rented accommodation is quite comfortable, providing a suitable living space for my needs. While the rental fees of 65,000 rupees per year are reasonable, the hostel food, while good, is not exceptional. However, the room facilities are adequate, although not luxurious. Overall, it offers a decent living arrangement for the duration of my studies.
Admission :
My admission was all based on the portfolio I submitted, especially my works on 3d animation and I worked as a freelancer in graphic designing and content writing. I applied online in the official college site. Don't know much about reservation benefits. Exams were conducted and they were very easy. Most of the questions were based from media industry as the course demands. The duration of the exams was 3 hour. Admission process is pretty good compared to other media colleges.
