Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is designed very effectively. It helps to understand the real world problems and activities and how to tackle them. For my course BA History, Travel and Tourism; there are great insights given and the qualified knowledge of teachers and their experiences helps alot. There are three exams conducted throughout each individual semester and there difficulty level in more than medium.

Class Size : 18Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internships are brought in by many big and small companies. Like; Traaexplore Pvt Ltd - which is a event management and MICE company, which offers roles for tourism and commerce students. With a starting stipend of ?2000/monthly.

Placement Experience :

The Placements of college are opened for 3rd year or 4th year students. The packages offered by companies depends on individuals semester marks and there experiences, internships etc. The highest package can go upto ?1 lakh/monthly and lowest can go to ?12,000/monthly. The percentage of students getting placements are also high. But personally I would go for a master's degree after graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees compared to other prominent colleges in kind of less. Simple BA courses doesn't go from beyond 1 lakh per academic year. For my individual course it varies every year but it was ?90,000 in first year and ?85,000 in second. Additional foreign language classes asks for extra fees. There are many scholarships available for the students in need as well. Placement Cell of the college helps to bring us internships and the stipends starts from ?2000 to ?12,000 a month.

Campus Life :

The campus includes all the basic needed infrastructure facilities. There are many fests organised like Cul- Week and Cul-Ah , which are the biggest college fests also there are numerous individual department fests organised almost every month. There are various student run associations(clubs) available for students to choose from, which helps in socialising and build up personality of an individual. The library is equipped with all relevant books related to one's course.

Admission :

Filled online forms for admission which was available on the original website of the college. Had a one on one online interview with the department coordinator. The admission process was pretty smooth.

SJU- YAY OR NAY?

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum and syllabus are pretty thorough and let students think and be creative. In psychology, multiple theories have been discussed well and projects based on them are given to make the understanding better. The lab classes play an important role since we get first-hand experience with how experiments are conducted, and they tend to give a deeper understanding of the topic being studied. I chose this course because I was interested in the subject, and the classes strengthened this decision of mine. The teaching methods can be a bit more interactive and while frequent quizzes and discussions do occur, certain parts of the subject need a more extensive explanation, and usually extra emphasis is not given to important topics. We have one mid-semester exam and one end-semester exam. According to me, these exams are enough to help students prepare. The difficulty level has got to be very subjective. I find some topics harder than others and that influences my grades.

Placement Experience:
