Remarks :
Every college has something good and something bad, but here good is 95% and bad is 5%( only if you will try hard to find it.)
Entrance Preview :
This is the best college for B Pharma in India, the fees are less, the quality of education is awesome, the infrastructure is good, the faculty is one of the best, environment of Panjab University makes living comfortable at a reasonable price because of the hostel and good food served.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is as per the guidelines of Pharmacy the of India. All the syllabus and names of recommended books are directly available on the website of PCI( Pharmacy Council of India). There is no role of Panjab University in making any changes.
Internships Opportunities :
I have no idea about this at the moment, but I think internships as I have seen few seniors discussing this issue.
Placement Experience :
Few say placement is not good, few say placement is awesome. I don't know if research works which make it a great college or is it the placement which does so. However the data will be clear soon, as the convocation was held few weeks ago, so we'll be informed about it soon.
College Events :
Trips are organized every two weeks, there are concerts, Gidda, Bhangra, Football matches, Cricket matches, Hockey, Basketball, Singing, Dancing, Elections, and much more. Actually, Panjab University organizes most of them and we enjoy a lot. Really awesome.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very feasible, I should say it's less than Rs.1,00,000 for B Pharma course,( all 4 years included). The price of hostel is around Rs.800 per month, but you have to pay for food, which is also affordable, it won't cost you more than Rs.4000 in a month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship is available for Reserved categories and also for those who belong to economically weaker section.
Campus Life :
I have already said everything in previous questions. Trips are organized every two weeks, there are concerts, Gidda, Bhangra, Football matches, Cricket matches, Hockey, Basketball, Singing, Dancing, Elections, and much more. Gender ratio is 50:50 you can say.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities as I said is very good, I would rate it 4.5/5, but for most of the people it's like 5/5, and for some it's not even 4/5, it depends choice of every individual. But really mess food is also very good and hygienic, there is canteen also.
Alumni/Alumna :
They are very helpful, within a few months, nearly 3-4 Alumni have attended lectures and also gave lectures and presentations.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure consists of two sessional exams, each containing theory and practical, and then the final external exam. There are also vivas and few exams in between, all those are just to prepare you for the final exams, they decide your marks by very little percentage.
Admission :
I appeared for PU-CET, full form is Panjab University Common Entrance Test. To appear in this test, apply on the website of PU, in the month of February, then tests are held only in Chandigarh in the month of April. Results are declared within a month.
Faculty :
The faculty of my college is, as I said is very good. Though the students who joined in later counseling, found it difficult to interact with the faculty but over time this thing improved. Seniors are also helpful, if you find it difficult to reach the faculty, you can contact seniors.
