Remarks :
Every plus comes with a minus. So do this college teachers are good even rest of the staff but university is quite uncertain like future anyone can be turned down in the exam at any point of the exam. Even one is the topper of the class
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is bit on the harder side. One needs to study through out the year. Without any break. Exam is composed of 3 section first one is question carrying one marks Second part contains long answers carrying 2 -3 marks each, Third part essay type question each carrying 10 marks each.
Placement Experience :
Yes internship is provided within college in hospital as a hospital pharmacist. Although no stipend is given but experience helps a lot. As it is a government set up so there are many patients so more knowledge and skills develop automatically
College Events :
Pharmacist day - one day in a year some kind of function are organized such as dance or other Pharmacy week - one week in a year Youth festival (beat) - 3 days in a year Freshers party Farewell party Religious events such as lohri and Eid are celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is quite feasible. Actually cheapest in the area as it government college so no extra fees is charged. But one need to pay examination fee twice annually apart from annual fee. Rest all is included within fee
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Loan facilities are need to be arranged by the students themself. Scholarship is provided by central government for SC/ ST /OBC students. So all the fee is waived off one need to pay just examination fees. Every 6 months.
Campus Life :
Sports event are held on regular basis, cricket tournaments are organized for both male and female. Even annual sports meet is held once a year for three days All sports such as long run, shortput , javelin throw, disc throw, relay race
Hostel Facilities :
No, hostel in currently not available it is under construction. One can stay outside in local pg and hostel which are quite reasonable and even better than the boys current hostel. Even many food options are available
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, seniors are quite helpful they lends their notes to study even guide you in various problem. Alumni network is still under construction but alumni are in touch with college staff. They visit college and guide students
Admission :
First you need to fill admission forms available online and offline submit the required documents within give period of time. Even one day late forms are not accepted at all after that counseling dates are declared one need to attend counseling physically to get admission. Admission is purely on the basis of marks scored in physics, chemistry, biology/ mathematics. Other subjects are not considered in merit list ranking.
Faculty :
Faculty of college is quite good. They would even go out of way to help you even. But yes work or task assigned should be completed within given time. Rest lab technicians are very supportive. They would help one in each and every way possible
