Remarks

Pros: 1. Cosmopolitan culture 2. Recognized name and brand among students and parents 3. Educated high-class students 4. Equal opportunities for academics and co-curricular activities 5. Highly flexible system in terms of subjects, career options, time and mentor. 6. Sterling Placements 7. Above average food as compared to other colleges in India 8. Excellent Infrastructure. Still admire the toilets being cleaned everyday. Cons: 1. Below average contract faculty standards. 2. Easy to get good grades. Makes it essential for everyone to study or they would have to sit out during placements.

Entrance Preview

I have a passion to be a chemical engineer. JNTUA is one of the best college providing chemical engineering discipline in under graduation and post graduation level. It is a best college and one in among the top engineering colleges of INDIA. Wi-Fi is available in our college, and it is available at a certain distance. We have better equipment in our labs. Classrooms are good, and it is under CC surveillance. It is controlled and monitored by the principal. We have spacious library with thousand volumes of books.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum will be updated as per the AICTE and with respective time and current technologies and trends. It is included with mandatory social service activities , followed by NCC & NSS. It helps to convert our theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge .

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available for civil and chemical engineering students in collaboration with industries paying stipend on monthly basis. Now, current regulation made internship is mandatory in order to have industrial and practical knowledge also.

Placement Experience

4

Yup. Satisfied with the placements. As it is University, we will be having a better placement as well as positions. We get the off-campus as well as on-campus drives, The reputed companies like TCS, ACCENTURE are the best placements ever. The off-campus drives are conducted frequently, there will be plenty of placements provided. Jntua is a bunch of opportunities for the ones who are willing, interested and enthusiastic. Also in Jntua, chemical engineering is the best choice for those who can grab the core opportunities like in AMARA RAJA BATTERIES LIMITES, AUROBINDO PHARMA, HETERO PHARMA etc..,

College Events

4

Jntua is full of events and fests, department fest was conducted every year that was quite awesome!campus surroundings was very nice spot to roam in the evenings. The classrooms are wide with good spacing and provided with the desks. There are three libraries with the central, SC/ST, and the departmental libraries. The medical facilities are good with one doctor and an ambulance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is less expensive since it is a government college. The basic fee is Rs:10,000 excluding other fees. The semester fee for each semester is around Rs.715.The hostel fee is separate and is monthly basis sharing based on the expenditure spent by hostel office.

Fees and Financial Aid

JNTUA SBI branch is available to take loans for the education in Jntua. I don't know exactly the amount of loan will be given.

Campus Life

3.5

Jntua is full of events and fests, department fest was conducted every year that was quite awesome!campus surroundings was very nice spot to roam in the evenings!JNTUA don't have better infrastructure as all are old buildings, but it is a big campus, it has a playground, a gymnasium, and classes are not digital.Myself, conducted a national level students technical symposium-FUSION2K18.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are unto the mark in JNTUA. There is a lot of need for the improvement hostel facilities in point of view of infrastructure. The food is average when compared to other colleges. New hostel buildings should be constructed in the campus in order to provide best facilities to students instead of old buildings.

Alumni/Alumna

JNTUA is a oldest college with widespread of alumni in all over the world. There will be a every year alumni reunions in the campus. They are playing a key role in development of JNTUA in all aspects and in providing job opportunities.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite simple and based on current trends and regulations. It contains eight semesters in which 6 theoretical subjects , two practical labs and a mini-project/ internship up to 6th semester. In final year, a one year project with at least 4-5 theoretical subjects in each semester

Admission

t present if your studying in intermediate. You should pass the all the subjects in the intermediate board.Else ,you will not get the rank in the EAMCET ,even though you passed in that examination. EAMCET is the examination you need to apply and get the marks above the cut off of that respective year. After that you need to get attend the counselling choose the college and arrange them according to priority . And that's how you will get an admission to an engineering college.

Faculty

4

Faculty are good enough with a lot of experience in teaching field and you find a lot of professors and faculty who have completed their Ph.D's. The teaching quality is not too high but is with par with other colleges. The teaching methods are not too complex and are simple for students to understand.
