- The canteen in the college needed to upgrade a little bit more.
- The gym and others needed to considered more during the admission years and needed to provide more facilities
Course Curriculum Overview :
As nowadays the mental health is most important for the people studying about human mind is such a cool idea and this course is available in only this govt college.The lab and also the theory is good enough .
Internships Opportunities :
There are so much opportunities will be provided by the college along with stipend and the main colleges include the psychiatritic colleges trivandrum.And will get a good stipend amout.We can work as juniors or fresher.
Placement Experience :
On the 3rd years the college provides campus placement.According to my plans after my degree I want to take msc psychology in clinical psychology and to start a clinic by my own and also to take a PhD in psychology
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is good for the college and there are van fees,pta fund and also other examination fees and other funds.There are different scholarship in there such as mcm ,egrants etc for financial support throughout the course.
Campus Life :
There are so many cultural programs in the College conducted by the union.such as victory day college day, onam celebration etc.And the library facilities provided is unbelievable.there are so many books available for reading and also sports and many clubs are also available.
Admission :
The eligibility criteria include minimum of 50% mark in the higher secondary examination and both arts and science based filed can apply. As it is an autonomous college everything is done by the college authorities and we have an interview and also some fee payment.There are reservation seats for the catholic mainly the roman and latin catholic groups.And reservation for sports based quota, Christian backward, merit seats etc.Mainly the coureses are of 3 years duration and in semester system.The syllabus is little bit tough.The exams are mainly conducted by the college examination board and also valuation done by the valuation board of the college.There are mainly 6 semester exams along with practicals for the science fileds.The valuation is not liberal and it is really tought to pass the exams.The areas needed to be improved are mainly the interview section and also the fees.The fees are over for the people who got the merit seat and also it is govt affiliated college and it's is good
Interview Experience :
Yes there are interacting section with the teachers during the fee collection and also a interview by the principal and other faculties. They ask about the interest in this course and the ambition and some random questions
