.The course has good job opportunities in abroad .Hands on clinical experience is being provided to students in JIPMER. . Students have to be provided exposure to advanced technologies. Internal assessments from time to time and final exams once a year

Class Size: 87Course Fees: INR 5870 per year

Internships Opportunities

. Internships are offered to the students by JIPMER at the time of course completion with a minimal stipend of around Rs.5000 per month. .The interns are required to perform all the duties just like a staff posted in that position

Fees and Financial Aid

. Tuition fees do not usually increase every year. .First year fees is 11,000. Then onwards 5870 per annum. .Postmatric scholarship, Merit cum means scholarship etc are available. .No campus placements but internships are offered.

Campus Life

.SPANDAN is the annual fest conducted. .24x7 library facility is available with wide collection of books . Airconditioned classrooms, smart classrooms etc . Facilities for all major sports like football, cricket, hockey, basketball, badminton etc are available. .Tech groups, music clubs, dance clubs etc are run by the students.

.Both single and double sharing rooms are available. .Menu in messes is of decent quality and average taste. .Hostel is alloted at the time of admission for outstation students. . Hostels are located within the campus.

.The admission is purely based on NEET rank . Information is available on www jipmer.edu.in .OBC,SC,ST,EWS etc reservation can be availed if eligible .NEET Exam is an annual exam usually conducted in the months May-July .The admission process may be started earlier

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum focuses on theory as well as on practicals. And on ground application of the knowledge you got in the class. Teaching method is very nice but, it is very fast you should be very attentive in the class.

A college of good medical values

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't face any difficulties about the frequency and timings of exam as they gave enough time for preparation. The curriculum they are following is that compulsory 75 percent attendance and the 50 percent for academic marks should not be followed for bsc courses because of this rule our friends are getting detained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing is that will making jipmer different from other colleges is exposure of patients. Normally bsc students never get a chance to learn with cadavers. But here we can learn human anatomy by holding real specimens.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will give 9/10 for course curriculum. Because, curriculum which is followed by the jipmer making a student to be most perfect in their field. According to curriculum for bsc degrees in jipmer, which is 4 year course including one year internship in jipmer itself, first year classes will mostly based on general things.which includes subjects such as anatomy physiology microbiology pathology so on.. from second year onwards we have to concentrate only on our respective fields,this makes more perfect on the field that we chose.The timings also comfortable for students for first year we have 2 days in department and balance days we have to attend lectures in other subjects, from second year onwards we have to be in department only..classes are taken there itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that influenced me to this course is radiation physics .But the thing is we just have to study this subject for just 2 semester.Teaching method was all fine in my concept because we were provided with posting from first semester onwards .some thing I felt irrelevant in the curriculum was pharmacology which was no where in the syllabus for us to study after second year .Thats what I felt irrelevant about studying pharmacology.also we don't have any use of studying it .instead of that radiation physics can be taken more deeply for us .about timing of exam I felt it as good one because only in first year we had exam on yearly basis one second year on wards we had semester wise exam which is better for us to study also.i think in first year also it can be made semester wise exam which will be more convenient for the students .

Jipmer is a wonderful institution. The faculties, staff, seniors and all are very helpful. It is situated in pondicherry and hence we can experience the beauty of pondicherry. It's a safe college for girls too.

For getting admission in jipmer is purely entrance basis 1.entrance 2.rooster point through this u can get seats in jiomer.It consists of MBBS,B.Sc Nursing,B.sc Paramedicals.JIPMER application form 2020 - Candidates seeking admission in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, will be able to fill the application form of JIPMER 2020 starting from the first week of March 2020 in online mode. Candidates who wish to apply must check the eligibility criteria before filling the JIPMER 2020 application form. Candidates who will submit the JIPMER application form 2020 within the stipulated time period will be issued the JIPMER 2020 admit card. The entrance exam of JIPMER MBBS will be held in the first week of June 2020. Unlike other AIIMS and NEET, JIPMER does not provide a correction window facility to the candidates, thus it is important that the information in the application form of JIPMER 2020 has been entered with utmost care. Candidates will also be required to pay a registration fee in order to successfully submit the JIPMER 2020 application form. The registration fee is different for each category which can be paid only in online mode.

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. The cutoffs are really high for mbbs admission and it is usually around 300 AIR for the general category students....Read More
