Course Curriculum Overview

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10 . Doctors are taking the classes . Classes are good and understandable. Timing for exam are 3hrs. Practical knowledge will be more. Curriculum is prepared advance

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of joining , we have to pay 11,000 rs as academic and 20000 as hostel fees. On 2nd year onwards 5760 rs as academic and 12000 per year .many scholarships are available here. During internship we will get stipend

Campus Life

Campus is very wast. There is swimming pool , park, temple, hall etc inside the campus. The most important event is spandan . There are many cultural activities here. Students can show their talent in these cultural events.

Admission

Admission is through NEET score. Application can be given through online ,if jipmer release the application form. Separate application has to be given other than neet application.Application fees is 1000 for general categories. Neet exam consists of 180 questions with subject like biology physics and chemistry.60 question in physics . 60 questions in Chemistry and 60 questions in biology. Syllabus is based on 11th and 12 th NCERT textbook... Those who are thorough with NCERT is simple to crack neet. In accordance with Neet score there is roster point category where reservation based was carried on. There is reservation for 9 boys in bsc nursing . Other reservation are for Pondicherry residents , tribals,obc category etc.....soon after the admission of mbbs get over, jipmer release application form for paramedical and bsc nursing courses.Timing of neet exam is 3 hrs. Does Jipmer have BSc courses?

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc Anesthesia technology because I liked to work in operation theatres rather than in wards. 3 tests( internal assessments )are conducted every 3 month ( with the portions covered till the 3 months of duration)and 20 % from each is accounted for the final examination. A model exam is conducted at the end of 3 tests and 20 % from this is taken for the finals. The final examination accounts for 60% and the remaining 40% are considered from the above mentioned tests. A 75% mandatory attendance is required overall to appear in the final examination. And if it is less than 75% the student is detained for the particular subject in which he/she has low attendance % and is allowed to write the exams (3 tests + 1 model exam + finals ) with more than 75% attendance. Teaching is professionally done by the professors, JRs & SRs of Jipmer. Classes are taken in the Jipmer academic centre for the first year and for the next 2 years classes are taken by your departments we chose.

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam.
