Course Curriculum Overview :

Placement of civil engineering is too bad but u can prepare for GATE exam because of Campos environment is very good and professors are also doing hard work for improvement of placements and research. If u want just clear your B.tech degree with passing marks then you have to score good marks in sessional 1 and sessional 2 examination due to difficulty level of both exams are very low.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 27000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 4th semester you can apply for campus placements but rate of campus placement is very poor. For good placement or job you have to prepare for othe competitive examination like GATE, IES etc.only 2 to 3% student get placed from my department with 5 to 6 LPA. Civil engineering has heighest package of 7 LPA and Average Package of 2.5 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As the data of last 10 year you can see no any changes in tuition fee . You can complete your B.Tech degree from here with investment of 6 lac approx. University doesn't help you for any kind of scholarship which is very bad

Campus Life :

There are many fests , cultural program and annual meet organised by University time to time. Library has good capacity of books and having bug area of studying room, wifi connectivity is also good inside library area. University has well mentioned play ground and sports complex

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel provides 2 seater bed rom with one chair, table and tubelights each. Also provide wifi connectivity but it is too poor. If you are from North India then you may have some issues regarding meal because of here rice is more favorable. You can stay outside in PG but it's costly

Hostel Fee : INR 700 per year

Admission :

You have to qualify JEE MAINS or TUEE for getting admission in different branches of School of engineering. In every month you have exam as sessional 1, mid term , sessional 2 and end term respectively. Also you have best opportunities of Reservation if you belongs to North East region (NE QUOTA).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

A Honest Review on NIT Silchar.

Placement Experience:

The placement in NIT Silchar is decent. You will be eligible for placement from the 4th year but you will be associated with the T&P cell from the 3rd year. The companies which came for placements in 2022 are Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Electronics Limited, Amazon Web Services, Vedanta Resources Limited, Make My Trip, etc. The highest package is 44 LPA in 2022 offered by Amazon Web Services and the average package is 15-16 LPA. Almost 95% of students get placed in CSE & and 90% in ECE, followed by EIE whereas in other branches the percentage is low. After getting the degree, I will be seating for placements and getting a Job Of course.

Life At IIT Guwahati

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

Don't worry about placements, they are quite good. Our campus highest package this year is 2.5 cr/annum There are many other stats on our official website, you can refer to that. Mostly many people get interns in their 5th or 6th sem and get placed at the end of the 7th sem. I will talk more about this after going the second year atleast
